1. July project: Scan the rest of the text pages of the Soel to Larg book. Today I scanned 25 pages. Only 48 to go!

2. Speaking of which, uncle Paco? The scanner DOESN'T use ink, unless I'm making a Xerox copy of something. Which I totally wasn't. I was SCANNING. A. Book!

3. I read the first three volumes of After School Nightmare yesterday, a manga I know some of you were already following thanks to telrunya. Incidentally, I grew tired of both Ichijo/Kureha and Sou/Ichijo FAST. I think I keep reading it because the horror plot appeals to me a lot, since the love polygons aren't quite doing it for me.

4. Another thing I'm reading, and I'll probably get stoned by saying it aloud: Saint fucking Seiya XDDD I found scans in Spanish (I think Mexican Spanish) for it. Like the anime, I follow this exclusively for the LULZ. I swear this is the most ridiculous -or at least the most unintentionally ridiculous- shounen series ever created. It's impossible for me to take it seriously, and this is why it's perfect for mocking, besides the clichés. I even feel like sporking the whole thing sometimes, or rewriting the dialogues in LOLCATS.

5. I uploaded the Waka from Okami fanlisting. In the end, I haven't even started the shrine part. I feel so unaccomplished.

6. Speaking of which, please remind me it's a bad idea to register "celestial-brush.net" plz?

I'm so getting it done, sharing it around, and begging Jamie or anyone else for translations for what it's left! It's been YEARS, goddammit.

I've read 9 volumes of it so far, but I don't think (subejctively, because they're both hilariously bad and I haven't seen that much of a change yet) the manga is any worse than the anime. Hell, the anime is the one that added filler characters without a purpose, made the fights look slower and more epic than they should be Toei trademark lol, and decided to fuck with a second mythology for filler (Kurumada sticked to Greek and never touched the Norse). If anything, *I* think the anime is slightly worse. The only worse-than-anime thing I can think of the manga is the Kido-fathering-100-boys shit, making every subtext look incestuous -which could be a problem for some yaoi fangirls who dislike incest shipping. Maybe it's a matter of opinions. Probably those who think the manga is way too terrible had problems with the Hades arc or the shoujo art. No idea because I can't take this seriously enough to seek a fandom.

Seriously. We have translations of the stupidest things and no one bothered with the book - it's not like you're the only person who bought it! Where's the Soel to Larg love?

I've never actually seen the manga (only the new "Episode G", which is blergh art and no plot, so much that my friend who is a Loyal Saint Seiya Fan stopped buying it) so I don't know if they meant art, plot or what. I guess it's just opinions anyway. And it's not like I'll ever go looking for that manga, heh.

I'm not only tired of waiting to know what it says. I really want to have the last chapters done so we can know if Mokona went "WTF is that Clow?!" when they were woken up by Watanuki. If they did, I'll LOL. If they don't, I'll rub it in those who say seriously that Watanuki IS Clow. So it'll be a win-win situation, totally!

Besides, I scanned today a snow-centric story today in which I positively saw Kero and Yue's names on it. Sounds like cute family playing X3 Some fluffy canon would be terrific to have these days.
