1. July project: Scan the rest of the text pages of the Soel to Larg book. Today I scanned 25 pages. Only 48 to go!

2. Speaking of which, uncle Paco? The scanner DOESN'T use ink, unless I'm making a Xerox copy of something. Which I totally wasn't. I was SCANNING. A. Book!

3. I read the first three volumes of After School Nightmare yesterday, a manga I know some of you were already following thanks to telrunya. Incidentally, I grew tired of both Ichijo/Kureha and Sou/Ichijo FAST. I think I keep reading it because the horror plot appeals to me a lot, since the love polygons aren't quite doing it for me.

4. Another thing I'm reading, and I'll probably get stoned by saying it aloud: Saint fucking Seiya XDDD I found scans in Spanish (I think Mexican Spanish) for it. Like the anime, I follow this exclusively for the LULZ. I swear this is the most ridiculous -or at least the most unintentionally ridiculous- shounen series ever created. It's impossible for me to take it seriously, and this is why it's perfect for mocking, besides the clichés. I even feel like sporking the whole thing sometimes, or rewriting the dialogues in LOLCATS.

5. I uploaded the Waka from Okami fanlisting. In the end, I haven't even started the shrine part. I feel so unaccomplished.

6. Speaking of which, please remind me it's a bad idea to register "celestial-brush.net" plz?

A mí me encanta la mitología griega pero, considerando que en mi canon personal Hera se divorció y se consiguió un lindo boytoy llamado Seth... (Hera es mi diosa preferida y nunca nadie me entiende), no soy muy purista que digamos.
Como le decía a amewarashi (algún día entenderé HTML), es más nostalgia que cualquier otra cosa. Cuando hablo con mis amigos geeks, les pasa lo mismo: es IMPOSIBLE ver Hades, por ej., sin empezar a matarse de risa. Ni hablar de la serie vieja.
A mí me pasó lo mismo con el anime, pero con Sailor Moon. Todavía me da cosa ver series shoujo porque pienso que Serena me espera en una esquina oscura. No fue hasta MKR que decidí darle una oportunidad.
Nunca había caído en que las CLAMP eran fangirls de Kurumada y es bastante obvio. Aunque como para mí, Kurumada=gore del ridículo... oh, I see.

Yo soy muy abierta a todo tipo de modificación de mitologías en fandoms. Sin ir más lejos, mi videojuego favorito (Okami), le hace un "canon rape" a la mitología e historia japonesa impresionante. Pero igual lo adoro!

Cuando llegue a terminar Santuario y Poseidón en el manga, me bajo las OVAs de Hades para partirme de risa XDDD

Mija, no sabías? Las CLAMP empezaron dibujando doujinshi cuando estaban en la escuela. Le hacian a Ronin Warriors, Devilman, Jojo's Bizarre Adventures, y... Saint Seiya. No has vivido hasta ver los horrores (o placeres, dependiendo) de ver a Shun en estilo RG Veda (http://fuunoroad.free.fr/saintclp.html) *se reiría si no fuera porque se parece a Kujaku T___T*

Pero sí, cosas como Kamui y Fay se explican viendo a Kurumada x____x
