#23756th time I loathe official anime art
Even if I'm out of the Bleach fandom, and I stopped caring about the anime from before the fillers, I was recently disgusted and mind-boggled by this poster.
WTF.
WTF.
Okay, since when Ishida had that... anatomically incorrect body? What's with the monstrous six-pack?! Who the fuck draw that, an American superhero comic book artist?
The reason I'd do Ishida is because he's all dorky and sort of skinny. That image... not canon, and not hot AT ALL. Eww.
And now, an almost relevant meme...
LOL!
I think it's funny I got that result, because one of the original stories I made up as a teenager was about a comic-like superhero who could control energy, including electricity because it's a form of it.
I kind of want to recycle him, and write about him. Not like I was planning years ago, because it was a big cliché and something to amuse myself with (because I have a kink for secret identities), but as a parody of the genre. My current version of him keeps the fact he had always been a nerdy fanboy -in this Hiro Nakamura sort of way, but less hyper and cute- who, as soon as he discovered his powers, ran off and decided to become a superhero because it'd be hella cool. Then I'd add mocking twists, like the girlfriend noticing they're the same guy right off the bat, regardless of glasses, because they have the same fucking face and he keeps disappearing; or how the FBI discovers his secret identity because the idiot followed the comic book and manga canons instead of common sense, and forgot that in the real world people could and would collect his fingerprints. I'd also add paparazzi and an Internet fandom for the lulz. Also, he'd get to the dubious honor of substitute Chuck Norris in memes.
Dunno, I think it could be fun to write. The only thing is, I'd have to change his name. He used to be Peter, you see. Errrr.

Your Superpower Should Be Manipulating Electricity |
![]() You're highly reactive, energetic, and super charged. If the occasion calls for it, you can go from 0 to 60 in a split second. But you don't harness your energy unless you truly need to. And because of this, people are often surprised by what you are capable of. Why you would be a good superhero: You have the stamina to fight enemies for days Your biggest problem as a superhero: As with your normal life, people would continue to underestimate you |
LOL!

His papa looks good though '3' But then, I just stick with the manga anyway and I don't remember Ishida having those kind of abs anywhere.

That idea sounds funny, not only for you to write, but also for us to read ;P And LOL Peter... what a coincidence (ack, CLAMP makes me feel strange using that word ^^u).

o Infinity!

Hey, if they ported it to Wii... and it picked up a lot of sales... then maybe Capcom would be motivated enough to make a sequel! (Very wishful thinking.)
