Well, I went with inouekun today to the local Comics Fair. Every year, there are stands with geeky crap to buy. It's different from a con in the fact it's sucky and outdoors and with less entertainment value. I did see someone cosplaying a Nana character, and a girl who suspiciously looked like Death from The Sandman.

The best item this year: a Bender (from Futurama, yeah) action figure on drags. The box said, of course, Gender Bender XD Puntastic! I also liked a Goomba toy.

Manga I bought:
- FMA #6
- Fruits Basket #17
- Tsubasa #13

But here's the best story. In a stand, they were selling CLAMP in 3D Land figures. I ask how much the Watanuki one, but the lady tells me they sell the boxes, closed, gashapon style, you don't get to choose. So basically, you're lucky if you get one you like. So I shake my head, and we go on. But after a while, I decide to gamble. Either way, if I get one I don't like, I can always sell it on eBay. If I didn't try my luck, I'd be regretting it all week.

So I return to the stand. The lady gives me four boxes -from the Wata + Subaru + Kotoko & Sumomo + Hina + Ashura collection- to choose from. Gritting teeth, I choose the second one from the left.

I pay my shit. While I get the change, I breathe and open the box.

I got Watanuki, guys. I'm a bloody Jedi.

HOW LUCKY OMG GHJGDSDHJGSD AJKHJDGHJKAGDH. AWESOME.

Yeah, I don't mind surprise results, but the CLAMP in 3D figures are extremely expensive and it was a huge gamble. I'm not sure why I changed my mind and try, but I'm glad I did :P

oh yeah! that happened to me too. You can't open the box, so you'll just pick the box and I also shake it if its Rikuo in the box. Amazing I didn't get Rikuo but I got Angelic Layer, which this series is very unknown to me hahahaha!

Bad luck D: I was really expecting for me to happen. I do know AL, but I'm not a fan of the main character. I was more dreading the Suki Dakara Suki figure. But either way, I'm not that keen on most of the 3D collection, as many of my favorite CLAMP characters won't ever get one.

Ah, pero lo que hice fue sólo escanear texto para que ella (es chica, sí XD) pudiese acceder al resto del libro. No es como una scanlation de un manga, es el equivalente fandomero de fotocopiar un libro para hacer un trabajo en la casa.

Por lo tanto, no veo necesidad de darme crédito ni poner mi nombre en ningún lado. No hay nada visible que haya hecho en esas traducciones. Más bien fue lo que llaman ser muy friki "labor of love".
