Home alone... sorta

And now it begins a week of catsitting at my mom's while they go on vacation trip (here, to be more exact). So basically, I'm staying on my own -or almost- taking care of the place alone until Friday.

Of course, I say catsitting because that's the main job, but it's more like watching over the whole ecosystem. Responsibilities also include stuff such as feeding the chipmunk and watering the garden and pot plants. Poor chipmunk, nobody thinks of you D:

And so the post looks even more random, some facts:

1. I'm on episode 5 of Escaflowne. Too early to say anything. Except telling myself NOT to crush on Allen until knowing him better, that is (WTF me).

2. The IT Crowd is one brilliant sitcom. Season 2 started great and random and I love it. Everyone should be watching/downloading this.

3. You know guys... I had forgotten how episode 40 of Card Captor Sakura is totally on acid until I checked the screencaps. I might elaborate more today, after rewatching that episode for the lulz, but I'm sleepy and will snooze some more.

IT IS ON SERIOUS ACID. Or at least Sakura's foreshadowing dream. The others are pretty much normal and fanservicey.

Ahh Escaflowne xD One of my all time favs.. it's amazing until the plot gets ridiculous towards the end >_> But my favorite character is Dilandau. Wrrrry do I always go for the psychotic ones :')

I have to admit I do have some issues with Allen, but he is a really well written character and Miki Shinichiro plays him brilliantly. :)

Though I am more of a Van fan myself.

Escaflowne is awesome! I haven't seen it in so long... I must re-watch it someday. Hmm.. I liked Allen, but there was something he did that made me not like him so much.. I forgot what it was though. Oh well. :D

Episode 40 was so full of cute that I didn't really mind the crack. X3

I did mind the fact that the Dream Card is something else on the list of things that make Anime!Sakura look useless when compared to Manga!Sakura, but oh well...

I still don't find it cute. I find it normal. I guess I watch too much anime with children or preteens.

Now, Kero-chan button-smashing a Super Famicon controller, or Spinel doing snarky remarks to his sister, or the Mokonas wanting to give daddy and mommy presents, or even Ioryogi making things go 'splodey? That's fucking cute. I have the soft spot for mascots.

I'm perhaps too in touch with my inner child *shakes fist* Eh, I don't know. I'm an atypical female of sorts. Right now I'm watching this cute yet strange anime starred by 6th graders, even having a dog and a little sister, and I squee over the fluffy things with eyes one of the girls commands. They're like furballs!
