Okay then
At least fourteen of you liked align="right" kittens were interested in the Okami pimping, so let's begin today! :3
Some notes:
1) The story might be more complex than some Zeldas, but really. Don't expect a Final Fantasy plot-wise. Some characters evolve or are more than hat's shown of them, but it's not extremely deep. Still, the story and characters are adorable and crazy, so give them a chance ^_^
2) The guy who recorded this was one Tom Batchelor from Stuckgamer.com. Credit is due.
3) Said dude took some decisions when playing that affect the videos. As you'll see in the beginning, he changed Amaterasu's physical looks to the realistic skin (after finishing the game, you can win these skins). I don't find it cute, but what can we do.
Also, he skipped important dialogues in the first two videos, but I can fill you in what you're missing. And sadly, since it's a speed run and a replay, he seldom stopped to talk to minor characters or to do sidequests, so you won't get to meet the quirky cast entirely. There are more hints of the plot in stuff others say, too. And even main characters could tell you more stuff than you will get.
Still, it's enough for the main sequence of events.

This is the intro sequence, focusing on the legend of Orochi. Even if you know the original myth, I'd suggest not to skip this as it was changed for the game a lot. Besides, pay attention to it because it'll be extremely important for the plot, and not only because we'll fight Orochi later on...

Aaaaand the continuation of that tale, 100 years later, when a shadowy figure whose identity will be rather obvious awakens Orochi. As the land is cursed, the village's pretty wood sprite is able to gather her power and revivethe Doctor Amaterasu... except her reincarnation is a klutz.
We get to meet Okami's equivalent of Navi, except that instead of "hey, listen!" he'd yell "boobies!". Issun's personality is quite loud, but I can asure you he's not a bad companion. And finally, the long cutscenes end.

Don't try to make sense of the River of Heavens (and a forest, and a cave...) being inside a tree. In this video we'll meet two Brush gods, so yay!
Nonetheless, Tom skipped lots of dialogues, perhaps because most of them were tutorialicious. The gods were cut DDD: So I'll pass links for the missing scenes:
Yomigami (the dragon: Restoration)
Tachigami (the mouse: Power Slash)
Also, if you want to read all the text you missed, you can search on youtube (for instance, “okami river heavens”). Warning: it might get boring. But it's still cute.

Back to Kamiki village, we have to restore the humans back to normal. After obtaining one more brush power, we get to meet and save an old geezer called Mr. Orange. Expect great, stupid things from Orange in a near future.

Now, when I play it I use a different sequence and I talk to Kushi on the rice fields before restoring the mill, and search for the sake during the next video, but hey whatever.
Meet Kushi, the sweet young woman who brews sake for a living. And meet Susano, who is this fandom's very own Professional Descendant. Actually, there IS another Professional Descendant in the game, but you'll see who that is later. As for Susano's personality, it's something you have to see for yourselves XD

And so, we help Susano with the ironic boulder problem -not without alcohol, which is MAJOR shit in-game XD-, and then we talk some more with Sakuya. Finally with a more defined mission, we can leave the village and venture to explore a devastated Nippon. And with this, we're done for today~
Okay, enjoy ^^ And if you're taking, please let me know :3

The videos are small and short and a bit LQ, so they shouldn't be a problem. All of these weight around 100MB together, and just above 1 giga the whole game.

I agree with that. I thought the ending in Okami was a lot more touching than any FF I've played though. :D
