The background art for Mononoke is quite pretty, and the WTF flying goldfish scenes in the Umibouzu arc fitted my journal name in imagery. So I chose that. By the way, it looks sorta grainy because the animation itself was texturized. Refreshing change from a series of HOLiC layouts on a row, even if it's not that different from the old layout in color scheme.

Anyway. People are enjoying the Tokyo Revelations trailer and forgetting about the Wonderland one was out today as well. Oh whatever. I thought the teaser was pretty bland and pushing to fanservice, but that's me being The Grinch Who Yawned at Kurofai again. Which is particularly painful because at that point of the plot I liked the pairing T_T

And laurus_nobilis made a fanmix for Clow/Yuuko ♥ *changes subject*

ETA: Has somebody added me to AIM? I wonder if I'm just boring and no one is interested, or if it's time differences all over again. I have zero buddies, you know D: Oh well.

Naa, AIM is a little more "cheap" in that aspect, hee. But when you get a message from someone not on your contact list, a box usually pops up with their screen name, asking if you want to accept the in inital message from them or not!

Haha, yes, it's really creepy actually. But to ward of stalkers and the like, there's an option you can select in one of the menues 'Preferences' maybe? So that only people that you have added to your friends' list can see you online at all, or send you messages.

At first I was going to use random background stock so it wouldn't look so fandom-ish. I was planning to use the goldfish swimming in their rose-motif mosaic tank, but it just looked better in motion. In the end I went all "ah fuck it", and went for the flying fish with a side of MS.

Me neither. I felt it was too fast for it. I mean, the CiW videos ARE supposed to have lots of stuff happening in a short period of time, but it was sort of rushed. The characters jumping and running made it feel even faster.

Love the new layout! I really need to watch Mononoke, the animation looks like it's in the same ballbark as the Gankutsuou animation? If you've seen that. And it seems awesome ;o; Sadly I probably won't get around to it for over 9000 years.

Yeah, the animation is very Gankutsuoh, although it's a completely different genre -this one is horror. The textures and patterns are almost fixed, but they're all over the place. Besides, most of the walls and doors are decorated with Japanese paintings.

Anda que acabo de descubrir qur soy burra :-/ yo iba a avisarte que mañana te desamigaria, a pesar de estar segura que no te importaria y de no ser negociable y he descubierto que ya me habias desamigado tu sin ni decirme nada, vaya vaya, ha de ser reciente pq hace poco no era asi... bueno, pues ale, ya esta hecho, fue un placer.

Todo el mundo ha tenido la oportunidad de ver AMBOS y ha visto AMBOS, pero la gente tiene gustos y preferencias y escoge lo que mas le gusta.... el fandom no es idiota como mucha gente se cree pq lo que hace es _disfrutar_ lo que le dan....

No sé si te hará sentir mejor o si no te importará nada en absoluto, pero hace poco removí a un buen puñado de personas sin decirles nada. Fue lo que llaman una limpieza de la flist, un friends cut, esas cosas. No fue sólo a ti.

Me temo que saliste porque hace tanto tiempo que hemos estado de acuerdo en algo o hemos tenido alguna cosa en común o nos hemos hablado en buen rollito, que ya no sentía que somos las mismas personas de antes. Lo único que leía de tus posts eran los spoilers. En fin, tú misma dices que cada quien tiene derecho a que le guste o le disguste lo que sea, no? Bueno, aunque no lo creas a mí me parece chachi que os guste los tres segundos de tocada de hombro el trailer y que tengan su fanservice. A mí ni fu ni fa; incluso si siguiera shippeando K/F no lo hubiese visto tan sublime. Pero tú y otro sector del fandom ya mira mal a quien no ame y odie lo mismo que a vosotras, y por eso ya admito que critico el ship y ese fanservice por asociación a malos tragos. Si de verdad creyeran en eso del gusto libre, respetarían los gustos ajenos un poco mejor. Claro que el fandom no ES idiota, pero para mí se portan muchas veces como crías. Pero bueh, no quiero discutir esto. Cada quien como es.

Tú no solías ser así cuando no estabas en el fandom de Tsubasa, o al menos lo disimularías mejor y no me dí cuenta. No sé si te hizo algo o te catalizó una parte que no mostrabas, pero como vieja LJ-friend tuya no me gusta en lo que te has convertido desde que pillaste la fijación con Fay. Ahora puedo ser honesta porque cortamos lazos, pero en serio te digo que fue deprimente defriendearte, y que mejor que acabe así a que termine en wank otra vez. Nos veremos por ahí, Su.
