Year in review
Okay, so it's be 2008 here. I feel I've been neglecting people on the Internet, and I've been posting about crap so obscure nobody really knows what to say about it. I can't complain for feeling lonely because I'm not helping to my situation here. So, my new year purpose will be nicer to you guys, comment in more posts, try to be funnier, share more stuff that ISN'T about Okami, talk more about old fandoms, and try to fix my desktop after February because I miss making icons and graphics so much. Oh, and retake Out of the Ordinary because this is silly.
By the way, if any of you feel like defriending me, since it's the season, go ahead. I won't be mad, promise! I know I'm lame and depressing right now so it's okay.

1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before? Babysat a living being and survived (them and me... well, except for some plants). I RPed in a multifandom environment. I finished a Playstation 2 game (...what? I don't play a lot and Squeenix games hate me). I wrote for a stressful challenge such as Yuletide. I gave Math classes to my brothers.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't do any :D Now seriously, I'll totally try to study harder D: I want to graduate this decade or something.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Nope.
4. Did anyone close to you die? Nope.
5. What countries did you visit? ...None.Nippon? Alabasta? That fucking Celes?
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? More frequency in XXXHOLiC chapters, trufax. THE OKAMI FANBOOK WITH DVD THAT GOT LOST IN THE MAIL THREE MONTHS AGO. *breathes*
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? July 21st, definitely. Quite the experience to wrap the Harry Potter series up. Also, I got to find an adult edition, thank goodness, since the UK children version was sdjhfkjdshkf.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Passing OS1 and PAI at school. Standing a whole summer of dentist visits. Winning a third place at the animanga iconmakers awards. Did I mention finishing a videogame? Because it's so rare these days I'm still elated months later.
9. What was your biggest failure? NOT passing OOP. Writer's block, icon's block, everything's block.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? A molar rotted or something. The day I fell on the bus station and scraped my elbow and knees; I still have the marks, WTF.
11. What was the best thing you bought? The Nintendo DS. OKAMI and Elite Beat Agents. That load of Discworld books. The Monty Python and Futurama DVD boxes.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?iamsocool12345 for translating Soel to Larg *_________* My uncle for finally bringing back my books (but mom thinks otherwise because she didn't get her stuff)
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? The social security dentist's. I don't know about the appalled part, but CLAMP's angstbulance in Tsubasa makes me depressed, and for the wrong reasons. Oh wait, Japanese people at Niconico made me appalled and depressed today when they were all "return to the moon" at Waka on comments ;_; Even Japanese fans bash my pet prophet.
14. Where did most of your money go? As for quantity of items, manga. As for quantity of money spent, videogames.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Deathly Hallows. Season 3 of Avatar, season 2 of The IT Crowd. OKAMI.
16. What song will always remind you of 2007? This is where I should remember a meaningful, cool song: this year I've been listening to more music than the last one. Nonetheless, my mind is in a blank, so I'll just say "Let's go! Onmyouji" and move on XD

i. happier or sadder? Um. About the same, I think.
ii. richer or poorer? Richer, maybe.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Icons. Fics. RPing. STUDYING.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Refreshing the flist like a maniac, TCG crap, watching anime, sudoku, cooking plotbunnies for Okami fanfiction I'm too shy to write because nobody reads it.
20. How will you be spending Christmas? ...You're late, question.
22. Did you fall in love in 2007? No. But I got a brand new voice in my head, with Engrish and fanboy French :DDDDDD

24. What was your favourite TV program? Anime: Mushishi, Mononoke, Denno Coil, Twelve Kingdoms. TV: The IT Crowd, Black Books, Spaced. Animation: Avatar. *dodges the tomatoes and bottles for the lack of Gurren Lagann. sry guys*
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Not really hate, but I think I find one or two persons to be more annoying than last year.
26. What was the best book you read? I can't remember everything I read, but I really liked Pyramids by Terry Pratchett. The Count of Montecristo was fine except for a couple of things.Soel to Larg was cute~
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? I can't remember every band I listened to this year, but I'm liking Muse a lot these days.
28. What did you want and get? My stuff from Venezuela. Soel to Larg translations. The DS. OKAMI.
29. What did you want and not get? THE FANBOOK LOST IN THE MAIL. AND I PAID FOR IT.
30. What was your favourite film of this year? I'm not that much into movies. I know I watched good ones, but I can't think for my life of one I adored above others.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? Studied for the next day (I had a final), had yet another toothache, whined on the Internet like an attention whore. Ah, and 25.

And you have to change the settings for EVERY game, which sucks. This is why I really don't know how to explain it in the end, since it's a mess unlike other emulators.

the Fay figurines in 3D are butt-ugly and I wouldn't want them if I were his fangirlcynical crap. That's why I've been so quiet about that fandom, not only in your blog but mine. I just don't know what to say...no subject
