Now every time I re-read Card Captor Sakura in the near future, I'll look at all those times the characters freak out when seeing "Clow Reed's sigil", and think why the big deal? After all, half his family use the same one! Presence aside, it could've been any batshit descendant or a clone of them! F-- to Li for not remembering how his great great uncle's branch of the family still copy Clow's sigil anyway...

Really, CLAMP. Must they all but the Syaorans use the same one? I expected something with bats on FWR, not copycat.

Waitwait who else uses it? We've seen Sakura use it (duh) and Clow, and FWR now, and Xing Huo, but she doesn't count, she's a clone and might have that mahoujin just because she's connected to FWR? I think?

Still, why the hell is FWR using the same sigil? By that logic, I can assume any Reed or descendant of them can use it if they feel like it. I'm saying what I imagined (like dozens of Lis and Reeds using the sigil because they're -CLAMP, them, whoever- lazy to come up with one), not anything with canon base.

I still say it's plotholey because it's now a fact it's not only Clow's sigil.

I thought it was shadowed because he was finishing his spell? Now I wonder o_o

But still, you can't even say Xing Huo has that sigil because she's a clone. Dunno. By the way, does cloney use R!Syaoran's sigil when using, or he lacks one because he's using Fay's?

But whenever we see the mahoujins while the owners are using them, they're clearly C&Ped into the pics. This time it's different, and if we count that we haven't actually SEEN his damned mahoujin, I think there's something they're trying to hint at. Specially because we already KNOW that the guy is related to Clow.

Yeah, I just wasn't counting her 'cause, but it stills add to your idea that she can use it, regardless of the reason. And no, Cloney doesn't have one. Fye doesn't have one, either :D

Like using an item that belonged to Clow...? Nah, can't be that one, because of CCS. And Clow!Yukito has a different sigil. Then I'm not sure what's going on with buttchin, but I still call high plothole possibilities.

It IS plotholey. I miss my "plotholes make Clow sad" icon but I think in this chapter he'd be sad because of, I dunno, SOMETHING ELSE.

I make a very conscious effort not to think of TRC when I'm rereading CCS. That way I can take the Sakura/Yukito shipping without wanting to slap Ohkawa.
