1. Okay, I can't procrastinate anymore. I have to write the application for XXXHOLiC tonight. But really, I don't even know where to start, and I'm scared stiff. Should I even bother and attempt it? After all, when it was open the last time, I decided not to in order to spread the love (I already have Watanuki [by the way, I still have to figure out how set the co-owning with Misao] so it was too much hogging). So now I'm having second doubts. I kind of have a good chance, I can make a good app, the current owner knows me and I think I was the one who introduced her to that manga, so it's not like "I'm not going to get it so why bother?". It's even hosted in my domain. However, if I DO get it, it is not fair. I should give the opportunity to others. But on the other hand, I might regret it if I don't try.

2. I have this plotbunny for an Okami fanfiction (another one?!) I want to continue the story of Kaguya where canon left her. One thing that always bothered me was how it's implied the Moon Tribe brought DOOOOOM to themselves, so I sort of pictured that the lunar realm must be all post-apocalyptic right now. So what is Kaguya returning to? Probably ruins, I think. I'm doubting she will find a random survivor who'll explain everything to her; I reckon the moon has to be all full of curse zones and other conditions making it inhabitable right now. I believe the survivors all fled somewhere, most likely to the mortal realm -or the Celestial Plain? Was Ushiwaka the only one who ended up there?-; so, as I see it, she has nothing to do there, so in my fanon she comes back to Earth, broken-hearted and lacking every answer to her questions.
But my plotbunny isn't about that. One day, months later, she goes to Sei-an to sell some of her grandpa's bamboo ware, when she hears two men talking about strange machines and throwing something away. She intervenes because she's certain they talk about her people's technology. And fair enough, since the guys happened to be the Tao Troopers, discussing what to do with the holograms Captain Ushiwaka left behind and nobody understands. Basically, Kamono wants to throw them out but Abeno opposes to that, since he believes there must be hints about Waka's disappearance in them. But Kaguya, intrigued more about the machines, offers to help them. And well, the plot is basically about Kaguya figuring out most of the main plot and backstory of the game with the data she retrieves from the hologram computers at the Tao HQ, all from a Lunar point of view.

Who says you aren't the best objective owner the FL can have? Maybe you'll regret it more if you don't even try and it goes to someone who doesn't care enough or does it for the wrong reasons. I really think you should try.
