Or I tend to get into stories for their plots and concepts, and see the pairings as something that generally has to come in a story but I'm not that interested in it. Not that I think they're bad--there's only two pairings on your list that I actually don't like. (Haruhi is just so much funnier when she's obliviously trampling Tamaki's heart)
