Read three volumes and got bored. The fact I heard it gets serious post-timeskip turned me even further off.

I liked the two episodes I watched, but wasn't in the mood for josei that day. Should recheck it one day I'd feel I want to.

* Kingdom Hearts
I love/hate to play them, but I think the Organization XIII is overrated. Funny enough, I've only finished KH2. It's not one of my favorites, though. Not even Donald and Goofy's awesome can make it top Okami. *hides under a rock*

Haven't played it. You know, RPG.

* Lucky Star
Watched it, and some episodes were amusing, but it didn't leave me a strong impression. Sorry, Azumanga Daioh spoiled me.

* Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
Watched the first season because the teacher, fatalist piece of shit as he might be, is pretty. Hated all the students. Watched it mostly for the parody factor, but meh. Too crazy.

* Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Watched it, but it went over my head. Epic, yes, but didn't get attached to anyone in the end and couldn't care less. Also, too much Katamari logic on this one.

Watched it and wanted to kick puppies afterwards. Read some of the manga and didn't call me either.

Oh GOD. I know a lot of you like this one a lot, but I detested the two main characters too much to check out the minor ones. Got bored of their crap and Ritsuka's issues in three volumes.

I always forget to tell you, but I've read up to volume 5 of One Piece by now and I LOVE it. Which is weird because I usually don't like shounen, and OP does have the whole "let's prove are courage by doing INCREDIBLY STUPID STUFF" thing going on, but... it's so funny. And it doesn't take itself seriously at all. And I like Luffy because he might be a Stupid Shounen MC, but the other characters notice when he's being stupid, so that makes him adorable instead of annoying. XD

I think the best thing about Luffy is that BECAUSE he's so simple-minded and impulsive he makes the series and his comrades pretty much anti-wangst. At the point you're now you have no way to tell (so far the crew is up to Usopp, right?), but later on some characters with horrible, moving backstories (and when I say horrible/moving, I mean they truly make you bawl, not "and then I climbed a pile of corpses in the snow" horrible) join in. And really, Luffy is such a good friend, he manages to heal them somehow without really trying. It might be a silly shounen, but it's also a tale of adventures and deep friendship. Can't wait for you to see the arcs with good plot!

Yup, I've read until they pick up Usopp, then met a couple of crazy guys and now they're going to find a chef.

Adventures an deep friendish are just what I like, so I'm sure I'll love this in spite of the shounen fights. :D
