How peculiar

It might be because I'm used to the manga/anime fandoms with borderline illegality regarding these things. But when I go to an official website for a videogame and I see they have some fansite kits -as in, official graphics in a zip file for webmasters to download and use- I boggle a bit. What happened to the old hard work of browsing for hours, trying to pull a gallery together? I mean, they're never that big, but it just feels wrong when it's so... legal.

Also, the European official site for Odin Sphere has more shit than the American one. Go figure.

I immediately ran to the European site and downloaded the kit, but... I can't get any of the images to work. Do they work for you? If they do, would you be willing to share at all? ;_;

I haven't checked it out, so I have no idea. Maybe they're Photoshop images, then.

The file names for all the jpegs start with ._ and I'm not sure if that's some kind of mystery coding or what.

...Huh. I just checked mine, and my files are all normal. I'll upload them somehow when I'm done with my study tonight or tomorrow.

ETA: Ah, hold on, I see what happened. There IS something odd with the English zip (I downloaded the Spanish one). The ._ are... I have no idea, but by the name they might be bad accidental copies of the real files? But if you extract the zip, you'll see there are some that you can see and don't start with ._, those are the good ones. Just delete the extra copies and keep the normal ones.

For instance, the screencap folder has 20 items in the English zip, and in the Spanish they're 10. If you delete the ._s you get 10. That must be proof.
