Last spoiler post

Oh, but first! I won Tales of Symphonia on eBay. For less than 40€ Ufufufufu.

And you know what's really annoying? That I'm getting hooked to TWEWY's gameplay. I'm a multitasking masochistic, obviously. I'm finishing the first week. Sadly, the only one from the kids I liked was the one who got erased first (OF COURSE). The only character I like overall so far is Hanekoma. Neku annoys the crap out of me.

Part III: We should make Franz Ferdinand's This Fire Ozai's theme song.

- So Zuko and Katara are having this conversation, and all they talk about is Aang. I'M HAVING FLASHBACKS TO CCS. Zutara: like Eriol/Tomoyo, in a way. Or maybe two, you know. River in Egypt.
- Can you really choke to death with a cherry pit?
- That is ONE big jump. I thought they weren't going to make it.
- A little too banish-happy, Azula.
- TOPH IS FUCKING METAL. To the excess of Iron Man jokes, I'll go with FULLMETAL EARTHBENDER.
- "That's a great idea! Let the blind girl steer the giant airship!" "I was talking to Suki."
- The Fire Nation crew. That was cute. But how did they keep flying without anyone in the engine room? Plothole?
- "But I'm Li. So, who's banished?"
- WHITE LOTUS SO BADASS.
- And this is when Azula truly turns mad. Even when there's so much pity, she's still quite scary.
- So it begins. Aang vs. Ozai.
- I like that Captain Boomerang Sokka decides not to butt in and handle other business.
- When the minions are burning the forest, I have flashbacks to the intro of Okami. WTF.
- Noes Suki!
- That's an empty coronation ceremony, you guys.
- She seriously looks a maniac.
- Epic music, epic fire animation.
- Geesh Zuko, you HAD to ask her for lightning.
- Huh, now that the episode ended, I realize I didn't really have anything to say about the Ozai fight... for now.

Part IV: By your elements combined, I'm Captain Planet Avatar Aang! (does soulbending count as heart?)

- Sokka fanboying metalbending :D
- This part, with Sokka hanging on to Toph with his broken leg? SO TENSE.
- Space sword and boomerang DDD:
- SO TENSE. Toph is crying. OH GOD. I didn't notice she was crying in the first watch.
- "SUKI DID." Dammit. So awesome agdjfagsjf.
- Ozai is not remotely as scary as his daughter.
- I don't care how deus ex machina this was, either. For me, it's like this shows it wasn't about all that Guru crap, but the Avatar State is related to energy. Katara did say in 3x01 that he had some knots in the back or something -blocked energy, in other words. That hit looks like what acupuncture or shiatsu are meat to be like: free energy through the body, unblock whatever chakra was blocking the Avatar State. I don't know, it makes a lot of sense in my head, Asiatically speaking.
- GOT UR BEARD BIATCH.
- Little ball of DOOM :D
- Bumi and Iroh are worth 1000 Chuck Norris each.
- Now that I think about it, is the water Katara unlocked in the final showdown with Azula sewer water or regular one? Either way, that was one smart plan.
- I... feel so bad. I've had nervous breakdowns in my life so I can relate to that a bit. But honey, you brought it to yourself. Either way, making an audience to have feelings on a villain's fall, not only the character's fans, is fantastic.
- But the last scene, when Aang awakes and tells Ozai he's not ending it like that, and stops his counterattack a la Toph. In that moment when Aang grabs him to his level, holds him, and soulbends him. The red and blue lights engulfing it all. It all goes red. But the blue won't give in and wins its way. IN SHORT: Epic.
- I don't think it was a pussy, children's cartoon solution not to kill Ozai. Taking away the power from a man who thought to be the most powerful one in the world, and leaving him alive afterwards, seeing the glory accomplished by those he underestimated as weak. That brings him more pain and humiliation than a death in battle in my opinion. For such a man it's a more terrifying punishment than dying in the spot. Besides, children's show or not, it's more like Aang to end everything like this. It's justice and peace.
- The part when he extinguishes the fires looks beautiful and serene.
- "You have the craziest adventures when you disappear."
- The Looooooser Lord! Phoenix King of Getting His Butt Looped!
- "I. Am. The Phoenix King! Urgh." *drops and drools over the floor* So classy, Ozai.
- I'm a bit indifferent to Maiko, but I kinda liked their scene. He looked so dorky when she went rah on him.
- Water tribe family reunion FTW.
- Yay Ty Lee! Now I wish the other Kyoshi Warriors had names. How the fuck can I ship them with Ty Lee without knowing what they're called?!
- Monk!Aang <3 Fire Dork Lord!Zuko! <3 Awwwwww!
- It's neat that the coronation has people from all nations. It says a lot about the new reign.
- "Please. The real hero is the Avatar." Zuko so honest. It was cheesy, but I liked the speech.
- HAI DAD HOW'S IT GOIN. THX 4 THE BANHAMMER. Now seriously, bitch, where the fuck is mom?
- The fuzzy scene in Ba Sing Se? MADE MY CRY AGAIN.
Also, I think it happened like this, and you can't convince me otherwise:
Iroh: Zuko, serve the tea.
Zuko: But uuuuuuncle! I'm the Fire Lord now!
Iroh: So? ^_^
Zuko: .....Alright. DX
Toph: I want mine with lemon. :D
Mai: And bring biscuits, too.
- SOKKA'S PAINTING. Porcupine/man-girl so canon?
- The backgrounds and music during the Kataang scene were gorgeous. I'm also indifferent to that pairing, but it was still pretty.

And that's it! It's finally done.

Yeah well thanks for going over how awesome the finale was. Now I wish I was home so I could watch it again. XD

Iroh: Zuko, serve the tea.
Zuko: But uuuuuuncle! I'm the Fire Lord now!
Iroh: So? ^_^
Zuko: .....Alright. DX
Toph: I want mine with lemon. :D
Mai: And bring biscuits, too.

NOES I vehemently disagree XD

Zuko loves to serve tea now (Boiling Rock tea scene) he is so going to grow up to be like his uncle.

Well the Toph and Mai parts yeah that's probably true :)

So anyways i think tea/Zuko has become canon not as canon as Tearoh of course but it is getting there. :D

Hmmm, now that I think about it, it's quite possible he enjoys it. And that doing something by himself when he's not in palace with servants all around is pleasing (as he was mortified with the palanquins just to go across the street). Just a little taste of the old freedom.

On the other hand, I want Iroh still pwning the Fire Lord just by not doing nothing :D

No, seriously, that summed up my entire thought process pretty thoroughly. :DD

Dork Lord Zuko, lolololol...

I'm going with 'it was just a few minutes: the engine didn't have to overheat and the fuel didn't have time to run out'.

I don't care how deus ex machina this was, either. For me, it's like this shows it wasn't about all that Guru crap, but the Avatar State is related to energy. I don't know, it makes a lot of sense in my head, Asiatically speaking.
And the other Avatars had told him that attachment was good in his case.
You know, some people are saying Aang didn't sacrifice anything but he did sacrifice spiritual enlightment. So he got a girlfriend in return, but Aang is still a monk and that must've hurt.

I don't think it was a pussy, children's cartoon solution not to kill Ozai. Maybe I'm a stupid hippie, but death is mostly never the answer. Not killing him showed that Aang was stronger than Ozai, not that he was weaker.

I hadn't thought about it, but you're right.

Not killing him showed that Aang was stronger than Ozai, not that he was weaker.

This. And I'll reply with a Rurouni Kenshin icon for more effect :D

Some day, I'll buy the whole Rurouni Kenshin manga. Or I'll talk my brother into buying it himself. (He stole my only two volumes.)
