I bet it's a hassle when angels have to change their clothes
It's here! Tales of Symphonia got here this morning~
Awwwwww the graphics are so cuuuuuute. They look like some sort of LEGO dolls. I honestly tend to prefer shit like this before full-fleshed 3D characters. The goofy faces in the Z-skits are also A++. But it's kind of ironic to have cutesy graphics when the plot is full with sad stuff and injustice and discrimination. Dude, did they just whip Marble.
Oh, the gameplay! I'm liking that I can set Lloyd to manual and beat characters myself on my own rhythm. Call me a loony, but I like my videogames to allow me to stab people with pointy swords <3 This is the first time I play a real-time RPG in a console and, me sucking balls aside (let's just say I CAN'T WAIT to have Kratos back in my party because I need the healings T_T), it's doing good for me. Maybe my issue with RPGs so far is that turn-based combat grates my patience.
About characters in-game. Lloyd might be the typical grah-I-have-swords brat and all, but he's so dorky in the Z-skits I'm warming up to him. Collette isn't the kind of character that becomes my favorite, but honestly, I can't understand the extreme hate. I've spoiled myself all of her plot, and girl has balls. Honestly, she's incredibly strong in heart.
Genis is so freaking cute and I want to ruffle his hair and pinch his cheeks. I already love Raine because we have one on the RP I'm in, so I want to see more of her soon. Kratos... okay, I'm spoiled over Kratos, too. I'll have to wait till the endings of the game to see if he warms up to me. So far? I just want to hump his leg since he heals my party. Interested much?
Translation wise, the game has the English voices and Spanish text. The only really weird things I've seen is that Kratos sounds more sarcastic in Spanish, and Dirk got his name changed to something silly I can't remember now, and got this really silly accent with strrong arrs because he's a dwarrf. Whut.

I don't get all the Colette hate either ^^u She just gets all that because she's the type of RPG-girl-character that gets bashed all the time u_u (male gamers are all for Sheena, her attitude and her big... attributes ^^u). She's not my favourite female character, though... Raine <3
The only thing I hate about the ToS fandom is that my favourite pairing is so often forgotten and overlooked T_T (and my second favourite male chara as well ^^u).
