Okay, I know I have prompts left to fill here, but eh.

Give me a character or pairing* (or several characters for genfic!) and a prompt. I'll write you 2-4 lines of fic.

x Asking for something more specific is fine, but the basics of the meme must be there.
x Time to write the requests: 1 hour after the comment is posted. I don't work well with time limits.

The Sheikah youth and the fairy were staring at the sleeping hero, tired after gaining that one Medallion from the Sage of Shadow. The sad crimson eyes and the equally red emblema on his chest reminded Navi of something.

"Hey! Since you are a Sheikah, that means you knew Impa."

"She was my mentor," he replied, avoiding the hovering fairy and turning his face around. "She shall be missed."

"Is this why you're helping us? Because of your folks' links to the Royal Family?"

"That's not the only reason." He stroked Link's hair, absentminded. "While my fate is more complex than that and it is essencial for me that the Hero of Time is guided, I do fancy to consider myself a friend of yours. I admire his courage."

"Good thing he doesn't question anything."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, if I were a Hylian warrior and this random person kept following me around, and knew the exact moment when I was gonna wake up? I'd be a bit creeped out and asking them lots of questions, even if they assured me they're not a foe. I'm not askin' you now since your info is useful and you proved yourself to be trustworthy, but either way. He still thinks like a child, deep down."

If his face wasn't wrapped in clothes, perhaps his jaw would've dropped at the thought.

"...Good point, fair enough. So the destiny of Hyrule..."

"...depends on such a clueless guy, yup," Navi concluded the thought. "And he rarely listens to my voice of reason, either!"

The side of Sheik's mind patroned by the Triforce of Wisdom shuddered. He felt so sorry for Navi the fairy now.

It probably was one of those class-culture clash things. He had always felt weak on the knees when he felt terribly hungry, since he was a boy. Back in the lands of his family, whenever and wherever he'd drop, he'd be waken up by a smiling commoner of his clan and the smell of a delicious yet humble meal. Ling wouldn't understand until he was twelve that the reason behind it was because his people wished for their prince to grow healthy, even if that meant to sacrifice their own food to do so. Everyone in the Yao clan was counting on him to gain status as a heir to the throne. (Of course, there might be also a fear of being punished if they didn't feed him. He wasn't entirely sure of how the plebe mind works.)

Ling Yao had never paid for food in his life. And he didn't understand why he was supposed to do it from now on. Amestrisian capitalism wasn't going to force him, either. After all, he had a good pair of legs: hit-and-run meals or expecting the locals to treat him out of pity weren't that shameful of options to him.
