I can has sound, so this means...
1. Now that I know Natalia better. Oh, Natalia ♥ ♥ I knew I'd end up loving you sooner or later *fangirls*
2. Now that I know Asch better. Why do I find him so hilarious? That's the most tsundere I have seen in this series. A part of me wants to pet him and neutralize the emo a bit, the other wants to put a "kick me" sign on his back. I do like him, but I also want to mock him to infinity. With Linkin Park music.
3. Conclusion: Asch/Natalia is actually sweet when Natalia isn't going "OMGASCH!" a la Miaka every now and then.
4. Now changing to subtext: dude, were writers having fun with Legretta/Tear and Jade/Dist. In my headcanon:
4.1 The former, totally girlfriends until Tear found out Van's plan and broke up with her, although she still treasures the pendant.
4.2 The latter, one-sided crush from Dist's part, and all he does is tryng to draw negative attention towards him. Even if the party teases Jade about it, he totally doesn't like him and still thinks of him as the creepy stalker kid who breathed on his neck at school, and who copycatted/antagonized him in the hope Jade'd like him back and they'd be fabulous together. But you have to be masochistic: melting the skating ice before having any contact, lolwhut. I don't imagine Jade liking him in secret and being in denial, personally.
5. And yet, I still ship Tear/Luke and Peony/Jade like burning. Go fig.
6. Now that I know Peony better. Um. Dude is weird, LOL. But in this amusing way.
6.1 But how DUMB do you have to be to keep your weapon collection in the same room your pets are?!
6.2 Apparently, emulating The Sims with rappigs is more amusing than watchingpaint dry bigass waterfalls. Auldrant needs TV and reality shows to be invented, apparently, if people request imperial audiences just for waterfall tours.
6.3 "If you want this sword you're all going to beg for it, especially the girls <3 NO, EW JADE, NOT YOU D|" "But your majesty, allow me to..." "NO." "Now that we're done, we can has sword." "*...*"
6.4 "The Emperor pays frequent visits to the Coronel's office." "Well that explains that mess over there." ...My mind, in the gutter. S-sob.
6.5 Speaking of gutters, LITERAL QUOTE: "His head is about the only thing he's useful for." "...Siiiiiigh."
7. When Guy goes vengeance batshit during the meeting at Yulia City it was a bit surreal. And Ion was all "Guy, chill4realz, you'd have to kill almost everyone in the room", and I was nodding. If he were to kill everyone involved in Hod and their relatives, you'd only have like... Ion and Anise and Astor left, or something.
8. I want Keterburg childhood gen fanfic. I bet it doesn't even exist, though. I can't even find a compilation of meta info about that precanon time, or even a game script (!). If I had it, I'd write it myself, perhaps.
