Batshit weather this year is batshit. A couple of weeks ago there were some heavy snowing through the country (except my region, thanks to the coast), but since that happened everywhere in the planet I didn't give it too much thought. Then yesterday, school was canceled to my brothers' relief -they had important final exam that day. Last night, we had an epic bitching storm! Nothing bad happened around here, thankfully; the only consequences were like four power outages, meaning I had no Internet until today. Oh, and I lost like fifteen minutes of gaming, but that's not tragic when you hear the next day about kids dying in Barcelona D: In the end, I just send the light to fuck off, and played on the DS until I got sleepy. By the way, looking for toilet paper in the dark is no fun either. Still, the wind roaring outside was pretty scary!

Anyway. Por esto fue que desaparecí anoche, chan. Después del segundo apagón, mi router/modem se acojonó.

ETA: Anyone into Apollo Justice, in case you're curious about Snackoos, this is the original (I'll have to try the recipe sometimes, looks easy enough... but I'll add cocoa to it).

FUE EL TEMPORAL. El router hizo puff. Luego regresó por primera vez y estuve media hora reconectándome, y cuando por fin volví al chan... se fue la luz otra vez. A la tercera vez lo mandé a la mierda y me fui a jugar ToS. Excepto... que se fue la luz antes de llegar a un save point/mapa del mundo. Así que mandé todo lo eléctrico a la mierda ;_;

Dunno about Cali, but this is the norm for the Northeast winter. When the temperature's 0C/32F, we all talk about how warm it is and how we could almost go outside in shorts and t-shirts.
