I'm done with the first part of Abyss, awesomecakes. And I must declare my absolute hate for Absorption Gate and its tricky ways. I mean sure, it's clever to separate the party and all, but it was kind of mortifying to play. Mostly because I wouldn't know how to fight with the Jade-Anise pair: in the end, I just button-mashed my way out of shit with Anise, and cursed every time I had to pop an apple gel. As for the Big Boss Fight itself, I think the walkthrough scared me more than necessary, because it wasn't THAT bad. Okay, yeah, wasn't easy and Luke died a lot, but I never hit Game Over and it felt like an average boss fight in Symphonia. Then again, I went at level 54 so maybe that helped. Anyway, this game is ridiculous easy at easy mode and I love that.
