Um, yeah

Aww, c'mon. I don't think I actually HAVE lurkers since I'm not that active in CLAMP fandom anymore, and I've become a weirder person over the years, but you never know. Talk to me? I like talking to people, contrary to popular belief o_o
On the meantime, I'll charge my iPod and be back to leveling up before confronting the last boss in TotA. Tomorrow, a real post. Or memes. Or talk about how emperor Peony is such a dork. Or something.
Oh, and my grandfather died today in Venezuela, but I'd never met him so I can't say I'm sad. More creeped out that my family isn't reacting at all to the news, but eh. So no need to give me condolences since that man was pretty much a complete stranger ^^; And he was 92 and almost blind by now anyway.

How is TotA? Would it be fun to play it sporatically, like once a week for a couple hours, or should I not bother unless I have a PS2?

Well, the game is on the easy side: not KH2 easy, but lots easier than Tales of Symphonia. The gameplay is more or less the same than the latter with some changes, so the fun's gonna depend on how much you liked to play ToS. The plot, however, is on the tropetastic side although it's an improvement to Tsubasa when it comes to LOL CLONES AND DESTINY. The main characters are likable -except the protagonist Luke, who started meant to be an ass, and then goes emo-annoying; sort of the same can be said about Asch but added grumpiness. So I don't know if it's worth it to hunt for the occasional poking, considering it's out of print already in the US. It's flawed, and I guess I only like it this much because I'm easy to please with action RPG gameplay.
And I love Jade. And Natalia, and Tear.no subject
"How much I like to play ToS"... heh, I'm on my third playthrough, and thinking (vaguely) about my fourth. I blame Flanoir.
BTW, do you have any tips for being BFF with Zelos? Besides "piss off the Sylvarant team as much as possible and hit up every Zelos option"?

Unfortunately, I don't have any idea where Zelos is. I've been keeping the affection through games, so now the fortune-teller says that they're all my soulmates. Last I checked with her, Raine was the one with highest affection, with Kratos being the previous favorite.

Ugh, that always happens to me D: I had the fortune teller telling me that half of the party were my soulmates in my first playthrough. I thought I might've had a chance with Zelos because he was one, and I had done all his sidequests, yet in Flanoir they threw me Colette, Genis, and Sheena. I went and picked Sheena because I'm RPing her, but I swore I was going to work from the beginning to get Zelos next time. And if I don't get him this time as well, I'll probably pick Raine or Genis.

I really hope Zelos is in the top three for me this time, if not the top, because there's supposed to be a special scene at Altessa's if he's the favorite. If not, I'll probably pick a Tethe'alla character, because they need all the relationship boost they can get, and turning away the Sylvarant people will lower their affection for next playthrough. Otherwise, I'd probably pick Genis, because one of the guides says that an interesting thing goes on with his voice when he's kidnapped.

And I'm still sorry to hear about your grandfather, but I know how you feel because I didn't know my grandfather either before he died.

Funny enough, I've never met any of my two grandfathers. I did talk a couple of times with the now late one over the phone, but it was sort of awkward for both sides. So it was all, "oh, okay" when I heard.
