A break from RL and studying

While there are some nice-looking games announced on the E3 (dude, I think I'd play that Metroid and the non-Galaxy Mario; perhaps my brothers might get the MGS Raiden game?), you know what game I want to play a lot? Mini Ninjas, from all things. But it just looks so adorable and Wind Waker-ish! Also, you learn some shit from tengu. VERY CUTE TENGU. Yeah, I'd buy it more for cute crow-looking tengu than for the ninja themselves, WTF.

And in a different way of cute, this Ouran omake with Haruhi's parents. IS THAT A NEW MARRIED OTP? I THINK IT IS. They're both awesome and adorable together and separately, even... they're moe, yes.

Also, Haruhi? Never has your Elektra complex being more blatant after meeting your folks. It doesn't help that Bisco even drew young, non-okama Ranka's face so Tamaki-like. It might've been accidental, a la Takaya syndrome, but it's still there. AND FOR SOME REASON, I DON'T CARE. The pretty blinds me.

Oh god, I know! I read it a couple of days ago (though I had seen the raw before) and DAMN I was killed from cute. Crazy cute.

Haha agreed. Not that it wasn't pretty obvious before, but this sealed it. I don't care either, Haruhi's parents are awesome and so are Haruhi & Tamaki, so whatever ♥

Now to wait for chapter 71 scanlations, woe.

(groans at the idea of a new Super Mario Galaxy) Speaking of cute tengu, did you see the new xxxHOLiC Shunmuki screencaps?

Also, while I'm afraid that Samus's characterization is going to be handled badly (since she apparently isn't going to be a silent protagonist this time around), the new Metroid game looks amazing. I hope Adam plays a large role in this one.

I did, but when I was in the fandom I was of the opinion that there's no way to adapt HOLiC to an anime that doesn't have the characters looking fugly. No exception with this one, and it's sad Ame Warashi finally has blue hair when I stopped caring.

Um. I've never played a Metroid -blasphemy, but true- so I was just thinking it looked decent as a game.

I was just glad that they had well-painted backgrounds and a unified color palette in this one. (Watanuki does look good in screencap 13, though. Maybe it's because his eyes are closed...) What's strange is that I've seen P.I.G. animate unusual styles before, so presumably they should have been able to at least adapt the characters to make them look better on screen.

To explain about Metroid: Adam Malkovich is the uniformed man in the trailer who says, "Any objections, lady?" He's part of the plot of Metroid Fusion, which should be a good enough introduction to the series if you want to try it out. (I say "good enough" because, while it has a much better plot than other games in the series, it's also fairly difficult.)
