taotrooper: A wizard with a T-shirt that says "actually I am a rocket wizard" (Ponder / nerdy T-shirt)

Uh... ahahahaha

So out of the loop lately. By the way, hi to everyone checking this out from the Small Fandoms meme. I hope you don't get too bored with me.

Right, I still had to finish the words meme! Let's go with that.

From [livejournal.com profile] arcadia_

Rain:
I don't really like rain, even if it contradicts my username. It's something I'm cool with as long as I'm all dry and warm indoors. Umbrellas hate me and bend/break on me all the time. I don't find anything romantic about prancing in the rain (ugh, getting wet). It's awkward to share a fucking umbrella with a boy/girlfriend (part of you getting wet, the larger one will hoard most of the cover). The sky is all depressing with the dark clouds and lack of sunlight (did I mention I suffer from SAD and in the city I live in it rains a lot, so now I sort of blend those two feelings of discomfort together?) I only like the sound of rain and storms if I'm out of them.

Magnolias:
I don't like this flower that much, either. Hell, now I hate it because it reminds me of CLAMP. NEXT!

Tangerines:
Not my favorite fruit -that's green apple- but they're tasty and juicy and way too easy to peel. They smell good, too.

Peony IX:
I didn't expect to love him this much. From all the icons I had seen of him I wasn't sure what to expect of the character either (with all the piggies... was it a fanon OOC in-joke or was he an Earth king from Avatar sort of character?). But I started being intrigued by the tiny facts before his introduction. A pacifist who could convince the Necromancer into good things? It was surprising to actually meet him, for he had a strong, honest, responsible personality. And yet he's still an exuberant, snarky, dorky, sparkly blond somehow, which is just my kind of character. So well, I love both sides of him, the serious and the silly; but what I think I like the most is that he's an awesome ruler for his country despite being easy-going.

Okami:
Games come and go. And there's Okami. I just can't even begin to express how and why I love this thing so much. This game makes me so ridiculously happy, you guys. I might laugh at Ace Attorney or gush over Tales Of, or even roll a Katamari and buy every Zelda I may find. Yet my love for Okami is still deep as the ocean. Oh, the pretty art and music, and the characters, and the (butchered) mythology and folklore, and the Zeldesque mechanics, and the warm and fuzzy feeling you get by blooming something or feeding someone or just doing tiny miracles with your brush. It can be adorable in a minute and dark or creepy in the next one. It can break your heart, too, even for the ones you'd least expect. Plus, Amaterasu makes the cutest yet most BAMF silent protagonist you'll ever met.

Random:
Hey, randomness is cool! Here's something strange for you, but I believe the force of random is not a natural phenomenom but a force of the universe. Like, if there's a god (or several), they created the randomness to make some things going and to provide interesting results. Whether fate exists or not, random is still involved. True, even the randomest thing must happen for some reason (if you flip a coin, it lands heads because you tossed it this strongly from this original position and so on), but there's also a reason why computer random() functions choose a certain number (the seed value, et cetera), so who's to say the random isn't an important basic function in the universe package?

...Geesh, self, I thought I wasn't going to professionally deform the mysteries of life by making it a complex computer system.

Numbers:
Eh, I'm not that hooked in Math actually. I was good at it in school (not that great in college even if I wasn't bad, though) and was never as allergic to numbers as most people. I don't exactly love it, however, and I can think of certain areas and functions I wish to DIAF. I do wonder, however, why I mentally check if the time in the clock is divisible by three when I'm too bored. What the fuck.

Mansión:
The RPG in Spanish I'm in. I believe it spoiled me rotten, because we've never had drama or wank, the mods are reasonable and active, and even the really obscure characters can have cool CR if you work it enough. And even during the crack events almost all characters remain IC, which is precious. I haven't found a game as cozy and awesome as this one in English. So, spoiled rotten.

Fantasy:
I tend to prefer this genre in books, movies, and animanga. Weirdly enough, science fiction is too geeky for me to enjoy unless it's a hybrid. I have no idea why I like fantasy, though. Maybe I like the escapism of a world that's too different or more paranormal than the real world.

Mejor. No presten atención al random detrás de la cortina.

(De hecho, creer o no en el azar, no será ya azar de por sí?)
