I just didn't expect it to be so nextgen, the Amaterasu is a different character. What the shit? Who the hell is this "chibiterasu"? Ammy's younger self, a la Chibitalia in Hetalia? (hey, timey wimey IS canon) A child? A clone? A new Brush God? A Mary Sue? Something completely different?

Hopefully, the real Amaterasu is chilling with Waka somewhere in the Celestial Plain and neither of them will make an appearance.

Either way, man. Does this sound lame. And I call plotholes already: Mushu looked really older in that image with O-Kuninushi, yet this game is just a few months after the ending. Unless my theory about time in Okamiverse is true, but I doubt those idiots thought about it.

But what was really a punch to my ovaries in this article was this line:

I swear, "Chibiterasu" had better not be the wolf's real name. I'm hoping that the producers put as many mythological and historical references in this game as there were in the first. That would make it a little better, at least.

It's so lame. Hey, let's just fuse the name of the character with 'chibi' to make her more kawaii!1! See, my idea of fanservice would be that, just more awesome mythology/legend butchering (because here, butchering folklore ends up awesome). It would've been better to have a brand new mythological cast with almost no relation to the old one, while with some minor cameos from the old game. But from the summary, it just sounds like old characters interacting with Sues new leading kids, and that's lamesauce.
