The joys of bidding... Not.

I spent the last days stalking eBay, looking for a Final Fantasy VII game for PSX. No, I don't have any Playstation console. Yes, I have lost my mind.

I blame it on Square Enix and making Reno so cute and arrogantly dork on Advent Children. Bastards. Now I need to play the game.

I'll borrow my brother's PSone on the meantime, I think. I'll perhaps need a memory card...

But it's not the only good thing sucking my money right now. I'm getting the XXXHOLiC Movie Fanbook. Wee! if the stupid seller sends me his Paypal email so Setsuka can pay it ¬¬...

    *facepalm* Bad beginning, yo.
Okay, so... My first CLAMP series was CCS, and ever since I've read almost all their manga. I don't exactly know why I've grown so fond of these mangaka. Is it the art(s)? Is it the fact they change their genre like they change their underwear? Is it the crossovering? I really don't know. I wish I knew why do I fangirl them so much.
  2. d.gray-man:
I really like this manga. The plot seems, at the beginning, a bit normal for a shounen manga, but the creepy art (Tim Burton much?) and the great characters make it worth it.
I highly recommend this one to shounen lovers.
  3. fullmetal alchemist:
    Oh fuck...
Well... I got into Hagaren way before the anime came out. I truly loved the manga, and I still do. A lot. To the point of driving myself crazy when a new month starts.
I love it because it's different to any shounen I've read. The characters are all awesome. The plot makes you laugh and cry at the same time, and few series truly accomplish that. Don't get me start on those cliffhangers of doom; they might be overused by Holy Cow Arakawa, but she always manages to make them all different. And her sense of humor beats the fandom's any day.
The anime... well, it's alright. Too plothole-ish and cracky (occasionally not good!cracky, though), but it could be worse. I guess. The movie does look somehow shitty, but I can't give my opinion until I watch it.
  4. hokuto:
    Awww Hokuto!
She's one of my favorite CLAMP bishoujo ever. She's rather different to me: she's loud, extrovertive, passionate, fashion-obsessed, weird, sometimes even sugar-high. But she's awesome. She made me laugh a lot, but the way things ended make me so sad. Her sacrifice breaks my heart to pieces.
One of the things I love the most about Hokuto-chan is that she might look selfish and superficial, but she isn't at all. She's kind to strangers, she never judges and gives people a chance -even if they're creepy psychopaths interested in toying with a young boy-, and she adores her twin brother to the point of dying for him.
Wouldn't you respect and love her as well?
And her laugh! and the Kakyou fluff!
  5. kino no tabi:
This anime is awesome. It's so sad I can't read the novels... I can already see myself pining friends with Paypal so they would buy me the English editions on eBay... So pathetic.
Anyway, this is an anime I rec to anyone. It's a bit on the short side, and maybe some people won't like it as it's a tad slow and sometimes crude. But it's really good! It's full of metaphores on human nature, it makes you think... it has guns and a crossdressing girl and a talking motorcycle!
It's like The Little Prince on crack, in a way. It's one of the most interesting anime series you might find.
  6. luna lovegood:
I'm like Luna, in a way.
Well, I'm not as strong, or as dreamy, or as serene. I wish I was like her, I get easily depressed and I care too much about not having friends.
But I'm odd and I live in my little world. I was mocked by people. I believe in a lot of weird things -I swear to God, my main childhood phobias were, apart from early death, alien abduction and the apocalypse. I think in a lot of things other people wouldn't. I theorize. I'm a lot of Ravenclaw. I just identify with Luna.
And she's so lovely and so crazy and so funny and so... I just adore Luna! I even bought a domain with her last name, that should be enough.
  7. rinali:
Unlike most people, I like Rinali from D.Gray-man. I think she's really cute, and even if she seemed whiny to some in the previous saga, I still think she kicked ass. She's really strong. I don't think she's DGM's Mary Sue at all, even if it seems that suddenly a lot of the cast is digging her. Yikes. Bah, I still like her.
  8. subaru:
I got both Sumeragi twins XDDDD
Poor Subaru. His life can't suck more. (Understatement of the year...)
TB!Subaru was so adorable, taking others' tragedies too seriously. That didn't help him when his own life became a huge one. How can such a good boy have such a bad karma? His beloved doesn't (seem to) love him, his sister dies... it's normal he'd get pessimistic and angsty when he grew up. And things went worse.
I like Subaru not only because he's gorgeous: I'm just a sucker for aaaaangst.
  9. uryuu ishida:
Yay! I get to talk about the dork! XD
I don't love Ishida because of my so-called fetish with dark-haired guys with glasses. and blue eyes, he has blue eyes, gah! I love him because he's the dorkiest thing ever. The pride, the sewing obsession, the face gestures... he's awesome, he's insane.
And now we're talking about it... where the hell is Uryuu, Kubo Tite?!
  10. xxxholic:
*headwall* Not again... I'm not answering this one...
