Fact: I actually typed "veary" today

...I really should slow down with the bear puns.

I think I become a compulsive buyer when I a) have a good amount of cash, or b) I'm utterly depressed. This week falls in category b. I bought four books, two of them in Galician because I need to learn the most basic vocabulary -and I went for easy children's books.

The ones I bought today (no, not in Galician):
- Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox
- The Graveyard Book

I find it annoying that the most interesting children's/YA books in Spanish are only released in hardcover; unless it's one of those mass phenomena like Harry Potter or Twilight, or not that popular novels that they know a few people will buy, then they get paperback (sometimes only paperback, and some paperbacks are as huge as the hardcovers). Anyway, I get to think the only edition will be the hardcover and I get it all pricey, and like a year later or less I stumble into a paperback edition and I CRY A LOT. I dislike hardcovers because it's expensive, unnecessarily shiny sometimes, and they take too much space in my shelves.

Name one of my RP characters and I'll tell you the following...

01. Full name
02. Best friend
03. Sexuality
04. Favorite color
05. Relationship status
06. Ideal mate
07. Turn-ons
08. Last sexual experience
09. Favorite food
10. Crushes
11. Favorite music
12. Biggest fear
13. Biggest fantasy
14. Quirks in bed
15. Bad habits
16. Biggest regret
17. Best kept secrets
18. Last thought
19. Worst sexual/romantic experience
20. Biggest insecurity

Muse lists are here. I pass on the sexy questions for some characters, though.

Sometimes is great to buy books with hardcover, but there are some books that deserve a better (and normal) cover... I was thinking about the last Stephen King's book (Just After Sunset) that has such a bright cover that you have to put sunglasses to look at it xDDD And of course, it's really expensive although it only has 300 pages T__T

I stopped reading Stephen King years ago, but believe me that cover can't be as bad as some YA hardcover book covers. Most of them go for magpie-worthy glittery effect, and as an adult who buys those books it's embarrassing to even look at them, more to go to the cashier.
