Walken in a winter wonderyard

DUDE, IT SNOWED LAST NIGHT. AT 5:00 AM.

IT'S NEVER SNOWED HERE, EVER. WE'RE IN THE COAST.

WHAT THE HELL.

AND FIRST TIME I TOUCHED SNOW. NOT VERY INTERESTING. And nothing like I imagined.

I'm still very obviously a tropical girl who dislikes winter. Don't mind me.

Speaking of issues with snow, ToS trailer looks extremely pretty. Oh God, they're going through Volt! *saves a box of kleenex*

If you ask me, snow's the only good thing about winter. 8D I love snow, but I HATE the cold. If only it could snow when it's mild out.

Um, well. It's the first time I see and touch snow, after 6 snowless winters (counting as such as those spent in seasonal places) in my whole life, and a childhood deprived of any snow at all. It's cute to look at, sure, but I failed to see what's so cool about it. Maybe I'm too old, or too tropical.

Probably too tropical. I have to say, I'd give up snow for it to be warm and green all the time. (Accursed cold! bah.)

I wonder, though. If I had spent at least one childhood year with snowmen and snow angels and sleights and snowballs fights, there's a small chance I would've liked it. But now I'll never know!

(I agree, warm climate and evergreen FTW! Plus, in my native Venezuela, people can go to the beach or the pool on fucking Christmas/Hanukkah/Yule and New Year's. There are advantages.)

*_* Basking in the sun on X-mas sounds wonderful. Well, actually, my climate is mild enough that we occasionally have 70 degree weather on X-mas, but that's not quite pool weather...

You might have gotten one kind of snow. Up here in Michigan, we see two kinds of snow: one is "fluffy", it feels like powder and is dry, so it just spreads around; the cool one is "packing snow", which is slightly wet and you can compact, and that's the one you can use to make snow men and the like.
We just got a good two inches of fluffy snow two days ago, had to shovel that from the driveway :P.

Ours is glorified ice, imho. None of them sounds like the one we got.

Dammit, everyone's getting snow but me. D:

I WANT MY DAMN SNOW DAY ALREADY.

I'd happily trade places for you. But apparently our snow is the boring ice-like kind, judging from above comments.

I haven't seen snow in about three and a half years now.
