P-p-p-poker face
Huh. I'm still scared stiff of RPing in a new game right now, but I've been seriously tempted by a few games lately.
- Game #1 has a lot of casts I'm into and have muses for, but I wasn't sure the weird characters of mine would be liked by castmates, and I got no enthusiasm when poking at DM, so I didn't bother yet.
- Game #2 has a cool premise, but while I looked for a perfect PB, the one character I wanted was taken. It didn't upset me much because I heard recently it was a wanky place anyway.
- Game #3 has also a cool premise and I have the perfect guy for this, but it also makes it impossible to get my muse's main castmate. On the other hand, I don't mind much playing alone with him. The taken characters are boring, but there are a couple of *awesome* reserves. I'll think about it.
- Game #4 is an OC one; I don't have the time to create one yet, but it might be nice.
I have no idea. Oh well, I'll go back to this on February.

2. Do you RP anywhere other than LJ?
Right now my main game is in Insanejournal, so. I only play OUTSIDE LJ, I suppose.
3. Do you play in any public games?
Yeah?
4. Do you prefer first-person comment spam or prose logging?
Comment spam. With my recent writer's block, paragraphs of description and action make me want to curl and die. Plus, my strong point is dialog.
5. What was the first character you ever played?
Eriol Hiiragizawa from Cardcaptor Sakura. Or something that resembled him.
6. Who's your favorite character to play now and why?
My top three, in no particular order, are Klavier Gavin, Jade Curtiss, and Teddie. Lady GaGavin because he's over the top but has his layers to play with without falling on angst (hell, I apped him because he IS antiangst). Megane Bastard because I love his smart sarcasm and both silly and serious sides of him are so fulfilling to do. Bear Boy is fucking cute and it's ridiculously easy to build CR with him.
7. What's the longest you've ever consistently played one character?
Counting all places I've taken him, that would be Ushiwaka. Otherwise, Klavier or Eriol.
8. What's your biggest RP pet peeve?
People who ignore castmates if they can't sex them up. As much as I love crossovers, exploring friendships and rivalries that already existed is kind of important. Especially when one of the characters depends heavily on it.
9. Do you read RP secrets and the RP anon meme?
Sometimes RPS.
10. If you've played in public before, do you prefer community based or journal based games?
Communities. There are character tags and logs aren't lost if someone deletes/flocks old posts or the account itself.
11. Would you rather play with someone who's very very IC but a mediocre writer or someone who isn't always IC (but not terrible) and a great writer?
It's a bit easier for the first one to improve their writing than the good writer to get the character well. I suppose.
12. Do you have a "RP partner"?
In Mansión I RP with some people more than with others, but it's not quite on purpose.
13. Do you ever stalk any casts, games, or players? Who?
Not really.
14. In your opinion, which part of an app is the most difficult/annoying?
Sample posts, especially prose/action ones. I guess I'm alone in this, but I like explaining the history and personality of the character.
15. Are you one of those people who has to customize their character's journal layout and userinfo?
For layouts, yeah. For profile, nope.

It depends of the game and the cast. In Mansión, I think I rarely tag Reborn characters. It's not on purpose, I just don't find them that interesting and they never poke mine at all.

No. Not yet.
20. Do you play more males or females?
Males. It's not a matter of misogyny, but the ones enabling me or sending me pings are -in a coincidence- almost always guys. Sometimes I've forced myself to pick more females, because dudes all the time is boring, but I end up not threading much with them and having a hard time to get them well, and months later they're dropped. It's more that I'm not good enough for THEM. Sometimes they're too awesome for me to handle, like Toph or Lina Inverse, and I get all self-conscious. The only girl I have now is Sheena, and she's one of the few girls who pinged me from a cast.
You know who I want to play now, even in a DR? Gelda Nebilim. But I'd have to wait for more Tsuioku no Jade translations to have info for her background.
21. What *won't* you RP?
Porn, especially noncon and weird kinks I'm not into. Shotacon, lolicon. Epic battles, LMAO.
22. Dressing rooms: yes or no?
See, I'm so shy I'm scared of even DRs! What if I'm the worse ____?! Aaaaaaaaah! I do want to play in DRs one day, as it seems I never play anywhere else in English. The one time I did, I was busy and didn't tag back. I'm a coward.
23. Ever RPed a pairing?
Yup, but I'm kind of fail at them |D
24. Favorite place to play: musebox, open posts, public games, private games?
Public games.
25. Talking RP with someone else who plays your character: fun or awkward?
Huh. Um. I try not to talk about the common character just in case, so I don't know XD It's not like they can check mine out anyway, since right now I'm RPing in Spanish only. It's awkward enough to read others RPing the character in a different light. OMG doing it wrong! ...Or is it? Are they doing it wrong? Am *I* doing it wrong? And so on.

*puts plucky girl detectve hat on* Oh, it seems it is! Actually, Kannagara is número 3 in my list. I'm considering to app Ushiwaka there, even if that means no wacky hijinks with Amaterasu. I might wait for them to open and if it seems fun and not too stressful I'll go for it on mid-February.
