It's *NOT* going to be the end for FMA.

I will bet to you that Hollywood producers are in negotiations for the rights to adapt the Manga and i'll bet we will get at least a live action big budget trilogy before there will be no more of FMA. And you know what? I have nothing against it. I actually think they could take the story to some interesting places. And beside, it will introduce FMA to most of the mainstream American audience..

Also.. The setting of the show/Manga is an alternative Germany, so that mean no race problem if they won't cast Asians for the roles..

THERE ARE ASIAN CHARACTERS IN FMA. HELLO?

But mostly, I'd be more scared about them casting Scar as a white guy than the Xinguese. After racebending fail, I wouldn't be surprised if they would completely miss the point of the Ishval war by getting some tanned action actor. Gag!

Am I mean and a hypocrite because I DO want to see a Hollywood!Death Note movie? Especially if they listen to the Internet and go with that Zack Effron kid. Then again, Death Note is so mockable.

Oh, they will rage regardless of who's casted as Light/Raito/[kanji of moon]! If they get Zefron, people will wank because how DARE they to have a Disney actor for their ~edgy dark~ thriller (plus, not Japanese/Asian)! If they don't get Zefron, whoever they casted doesn't look like him at all!

Then again, fandom is made of magpies with goldfish memory. Like the wank when Edward Cullen wasn't that French dude who did young Hannibal Lecter, but months later the teenage girls and soccer moms were creaming themselves over Rpattz. IDEK!
