We interrupt happy endings with FOOTBALL
Because I'm still too incoherent in my sjhgajhg♥ to talk about FMA, and the most illogical thing going on right now in the world is footie! (You Americans can mentally replace the word with soccer, if it confuses you.)
There's something about World Cups that makes even most nerds with zero interest in running around balls (I haaaaate them balls) to be at least aware of that shit, sometimes even enjoy it. I'm not going to say I'm as excited as I used to be when I was younger, since lack of social life makes it less contagious, but I'll be fairly following it. At least from 1/8th finals on.
I also like to be on the contrary in World Cups, just like when I fixate in minor but fairly liked characters in fandom. When I was in Venezuela, the big factions people rooted for were Brazil and/or Argentina (as they are the big Latin teams), Italy (if you were Italian descent), Spain (see Italy), and Portugal (see Italy and Spain). That means I didn't root for any of them! And I'm Spaniard descent, so you can imagine the baffling from others when I was all over Holland and random teams for the lulz in the France '98 cup.
Now I'm living in Spain and it's my second Cup here. I normally go for anyone against our team, because I'm really bitter about this country's magpie complex regarding sports and I don't want them to win anything ever again. *dodges rotten fruit from Spaniards* But to be fair, from a time to now Spanish football has done pretty well in other international cups. I honestly think they have a good chance this year to make it, or at least to classify far. So, should I also root for La Roja? B-but I don't want to be a sheeeeeep! And I want to see fellow Spaniards suffer and troll them! ;_;
I'm still going for many teams, though. Holland is already a tradition since high school.
Also, the pairing meme is still going on. More fandoms, please!

Don't think of the fans
who can be total jerksand think of the team, and if you like their game, then support La Roja! :D And if not, go against them! XD But yes, the best thing is to support a couple of teams at least, I guess.no subject

I sort of really regret that old cliche that means that because I'm a dork I shouldn't be passionate about any sport. And thus I have to hide my footie love :(
I also root for many teams, normally. I'm usually a fan of good football (or the kind of football I like, anyway). And that means going with Spain, actually. I think Spain is the one playing the best football right now.
As long as fucking Brazil doesn't fucking win again I'm okay. MAN I HATE BRAZILLIAN FOOTBALL.

And hahah I totally know what you mean. I root for the underdogs. But I also like the top teams as well! SO MANY TEAMS TO CHOOSE FROM (and in the end I will probably end up picking one of the most random just to troll the fam lol).

I've always found this stereotype funny because I've always been athletic and a huge dork. I like sports. And cartoons and comics. And shopping. And surfing. I WILL NEVER CHOOSE BETWEEN THESE LOVES.
