Uuuum, I can think of ways for it to make sense, but it's because my headcanon regarding the Brush Gods and Amaterasu really helps in that sense. But then there's this: she's already maxed up in power and knowing all the brush techniques by the end of the game! So a sequel would have to power her down first so you the player can relearn and grind.
