Man, I feel sorry for the my friends who still liked this series, but.

I can't stop laughing. Oh my stars, this ending was just the perfect slice of Schadenfreude pie, and it makes me feel vindicated for dropping this manga and dettaching from every character while I could. That was a very shitty non-ending, NGL.

I feel like eating popcorn.

I'm not really sure I want to figure out Rou!Watanuki's feelings. They seem made of stupid and opium. But in many fandoms of mine (Fullmetal Alchemist, Tales of the Abyss), boys do really idiotic things for their dead mothers or female mentor figures without loving them romantically so I don't think it's must be that. And I never shipped Watanuki with anyone.

On the other hand, I appreciate that Yuuko tried to get him out of it. Sucks that everyone was so dumb and the plan never worked, though.

Oh wow I just had an epiphany. For all the thought they put into the plot and for the apparent intelligence their characters supposedly possess, they're all apparently just stupid s***s.

I also notice that for all the 'never give up' and 'believe in the future' stuff they put in you can't help but notice it being riddled with undertones of death and despair. Like it would actually kill them to make their characters optimistic and change the world by strength of character. Because following the 'rules' are so important.

Yeah I'm bitter about CLAMP.
