No post yesterday because I was mostly dicking around places. It wasn't until now that I annihilated the sixth gym.
Okay, so. Team rollcall!
→ male Dewott I'M HITTING B BUTTON FOR SOME TIME DON'T MIND ME (Yoshitsune)

I still haven't used the Litwick but EEEEEEEEEE I CAN HAS LITWICK. I also caught a male one, Velorio, and I'll be looking for a foreign girl in trades to try to Masuda a shiny baby candle.
I think the team in general was finally in good levels this time, because I didn't have a lot of problems like before. Also, Yoshi learning a fighting move was a lifesaver. The MVPs have been Sandro, who was a badass in the caves, and Zeus, who's so fast and strong that Skyla didn't see him coming.
So we start getting to the electric caves, but before we've had some bugs and deer being annoying. And WTF with scientists asking me to show them a Deerling when their colleagues outside have some. SCIENTIFIC METHOD AT ITS FINEST. But okay, there was a spiderweb in the entrance, but Clay's croc removed it for me. See you,space ground cowboy. Durr hurr.
Things I've learned at the caves:
a) SAHDHASDHGAHD TEAM PLASMA HAS CEILING NINJAS AND THEY'RE STALKING US
b) N really likes math as much as he likes pokes. The letter N probably is for NERDY, then.
c) Pokémon like electricity, apparently. Unless they're Ducklett/Swanna, mine hates it.
d) Klinks moved there <100 years ago. Maybe.
e) Juniper and Bianca may or not have an underage fling because that "I'm her, um, bodyguard" sounds suspicious. Jeez Professor, wait until she's not jailbait.
f) the previous was a joke
g) Papa Juniper is weird (confirmed later that day when he's met)
h) I've been ~*~chosen~*~. For something cryptic. I know off-game that it's for the other legendary Pokémon, but I believe that it's N-speak for "one day, I want to lose my virginity to you"
i) the previous was a joke...MAYBE
No really, I can't get over the fact that Ghetsis hires FUCKING NINJAS. What, an army of grunt knights wasn't geeky enough? Weren't we supposed to be in Pokamérica? How did you even get ninjas, are they imported from another region? I CANNOT. At least they're only three. It begs the question of why are they only assigned to intel. They could be stealing Pokémon too. Or maybe they do. Because tailing three pestering kidsand their dog too is such a ninja job, amirite?
I wanted to scream NO PROFESSOR GET BACK THERE ARE MOTHERFUCKING NINJAS AND PLASMA PEOPLE IN THIS CAVE. My God, what is this timing. Also Bianca, you could've helped me :( You get exp from it too. But no, all along beating every Plasma in the cave. PLUS N.
I'm... not sure what kind of dream my character can have (shuddup, my all my PKMN!MCs have some personality or interest in my mind: Lyra is the immature silly dork into dragons, Dawn is the girly intellectual about cute and legendaries, Hilda is the sarcastic sporty tomboy), but I still said yes. I don't want to disappoint Moe Nerd PETA Disney Princess and his creepy-endearing attempts to socialize with me.
Anyway, Juniper was pretty awesome when she confronted N's hatred. She understands there are many points of view, even N's is valid, but hers isn't wrong either. Of course he didn't get it, but he's too speshul snowflake so it's not her fault. Goes to show that just because you're a scientific investigator you're not a heartless arrogant who thinks only your point of view is correct because SCIENCE SAYS SO. It's awesome that our professor is open-minded, even for bullshit.
...Although if we have to be honest, there are hundreds of Pokémon rotting in our boxes that we caught just for the dex data. He kinda has a point. I've never been into dex completion, half of it is laziness and half of it is me feeling bad for fugly/basic guys that I realize I should never catch for something so shallow. So well... they're not being mistreated, but it is cruel to box them. I know, I know, they're data and not real but um. Shut up, I know I play PKMN wrong. So I can sort of understand that there are characters hating battles or dex-based research because it sucks for most Pokémon. But the plans to separate everything ARE overkill.

Anyway, I didn't know what to think of Skyla, as fanart of her is so... um, yeah. I mean she does have a good rack but they draw her with at least two extra bra sizes, and to make it worse her outfit makes Hilda's short-shorts look decent. So I was expecting her to be bland but she wasn't! She's a commercial pilot! She runs to heal an injured wild Pokémon! She's just as cool as the other two female gym leaders, really.
Her team didn't stand a chance against my Zeus, though. Flawless Victoly! Flying gyms are always easy shit. The gym itself, however, was extremely cool and dangerous. You know the levels in Super Mario 64 where Mario jumps inside a cannon and gets shot around? IT'S THIS GYM. We're human cannonballs. I think MC crashed into a wall at least twice, I can't believe she survived that sort of thing. VIDEO GAME CHARACTERS.
So I'm out of the gym, all happy because mortal perils are fun and electric charges are awesome, and SUDDENLY N WAITING FOR ME AT THE DOOR AHDGJAGDJHGA HEART ATTACK JESUS CHRIST. ARE YOU ALSO A NINJA LIKE YOUR TRINITY?
And maaaaaaan, he really opened up to me and told me right away what's in his mind and his plans, after a lot of cryptic stuff. You know, when he's not a creepy mysterious idiot he's actually so... adorable. He actually had a polite conversation with Zeus (??) like civilized people (?!?) instead of LET'S BATTLE LOLOLOL or sending for ninjas this time. Of course, I'm still not sure if he can actually talk to them a la Tarzan; maybe he suffers from schizophrenia and hears voices. I want to believe it's for real because it's just sad and hilarious at the same time. THIS ZORUA CAN TELL THE BEST JOKES AND NO ONE BELIEVES ME. But yeah, he's very moe and interesting and full of feelings for a Pokémon villain. He's doing things wrong, but he tries so earnestly for the sake of others. You're batshit but in an admirable way, N. Maybe.
And that's where I left the game. Things to do: try out the Litwick, attempt to EV train the Petilil, get Surf HM.

Let's see, I don't know which ones you've played, but here it goes. Ace Attorney series, Odin Sphere, Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Symphonia, Chrono Trigger. Also Persona 4 if you can stomach some optional gender fail regarding one character.
I think it's FUCKING GREAT that a warrior girl for once has the body of a warrior. And that everyone finds Korra sexy despite/because of the muscles is awesome. I WANT NOVEMBER TO BE NOW.

I have heard so many good things about Odin Sphere and Persona 4, but I can't find either one in stores. I really want to play Odin Sphere, though! The concept art for it was so pretty~ And you' fourth person to suggest Tales of Symphonia to me. I'm just going to take that as a very strong hint that I need to play this game before I die or something XD
