→ So the Level E anime ended, and I have no idea about anyone else (haters gonna hate gif goes here just in case) but regardless I LIKED IT.

Ah, it's been a long time since I last got trolled with the characters by-- wait a minute.

OMG, KING OF TROLLS JUST GOT EPICALLY OUTTROLLED

I mean, I feel so, so, so, so bad for everyone decent in Dogura and its moon, because they'll get the Worst Monarchy Ever with Baka and Luna. But it was hilarious anyway.

→ Watched what's released of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica like 90% of anime fandom. FELT LIKE CLAMP ON (MORE?) DEPRESSING CRACK BUT WITH MOE ART. I don't even. But it was worth it because I've seen some photoshopped parodies everywhere and now I can understand them! Yeah, guess I'm watching this for the lulzy factors, which is doing it completely wrong. I mean, I do feel so sorry for the girls but if I get focused on the plot I'd die inside.

→ I'm really excited about Doctor Who because of the trailers.

→ Wow, the Thundercats remake is going to be a lot more epic than the original series. I'm honestly looking forward to it!

→ Okay, we're going to Madrid in the end, from the 12th to the 15th. We won't be able to go to a lot of places because of time + money, but it's something anyway. To be honest, a lot of crazy stuff has been happening on real life and my family that has drained me, so I haven't been feeling too social on the Internet. I think this trip is going to be more of a vacation for my mom than for me (I spend waaaaay too much daily time with her than I'd like) despite the fact that the main reason was for my sake ("CHRIS HASN'T GONE ANYWHERE YET LET'S DO THIS BEFORE WE GO POOR"). Really, I wish for time alone without people using me, not only a change of scenery. But eh, at least I'll see baby pandas and statues of Roman gods! Besides, there are THREE geek shops a few blocks from the place we're staying, so let's see if I can buy at least one or two shiny things! Too bad we probably can't afford Cirque of Soleil.

It is a good anime, but I knew if I got attached to any of them I'd be in horrible pain! So well, at least all the Kyuubey jokes are hilarious in their love-to-hate-him troll nature.

I think I'll be the one person in the universe who won't watch Madoka. |D I'm sure it's a good anime, but it has a ~NOT FOR LAURUS~ neon sign, yup.

I really Level E. You summed up the last episode perfectly. It was fun and cracktastic, but you never knew quite what to expect next.

Thundercats looks awesome! Can't wait to see it.

I only watched it for the memes, just like Gurren Lagann. But yeah, unless the last episodes retcon everything into happy rainbow cuteness where everyone lives, not for Laurus or Sole.

Yeah, it could be more unpredictable in some episodes, but it was really fun. And it's fitting that the ending is Baka getting trolled and he embracing it in the end. Plus the scenes of Earth with the sky full of spaceships were pretty.

It has a lot of potential to be badass.

I really liked Level E, even if there were no surprises in store for me xD But it was funny and well done, so yeah. I also like Madoka, but I'm starting to think that not nearly as much as other people...

I feel like Madoka overdoes it with the ~deconstruction~ of the genre. Like, they're doing it so dark and tragic, it feels kinda forced to me and I don't get as attached to the characters as I should've. But I think it's a YMMV thing? And there's been quite a few horror/drama anime these years with moeblob character designs (Higurashi being the most infamous), so I don't see how it's such a huge blow. It's good, yes, but the reasons for hype eludes me -or CLAMP trained me well.

Don't worry much about it, we didn't even have time to go to many places (we only went to El Retiro, the zoo, the Gran Vía, and then took a tour bus for the monuments). Even if you had been home, I'm not sure I would've had the time to hang out ;_; (Plus, my mom might've tagged along and made things awkward.)
