The hell is wrong with this
Livejournal has been giving me a lot of errors lately. No idea if it's an issue of them or my Firefox acting up. Sorry if I haven't been reading my flist well.
Can't say I have a lot to say:

laurus_nobilis returns I'll try some more Transformers Animated.
♥ Missed the lunar eclipse because it was a thick cloudy night. I was looking forward to it, bummer.
♥ My brother bought an iPod Touch and it's sweet: all the iPhone benefits without the phone bullshit. I kind of want one, but my faithful Nano is healthy and ~purple~ so there's no real need for that.

1) If you could change one thing about the FMA manga ending, what would you change and why?
I don't think I'd change something in particular. The ending satisfied me and I'd leave it as it is. I'd love to have some more omake chapters to elaborate on the photos on the second to last page, because secondary characters are awesome, but that's more of a bonus than an ending change?
2) How were you introduced to Fullmetal Alchemist?
Oh, it was a long time back, before they even announced it as an anime. I was on my OMG THERE'S FREE MANGA ON THE INTERNET phase where I'd try things that looked a little interesting. So I was checking titles in scanlation groups, and on Toriyama's World -which at the time were really big on shounen titles- I saw this project called Fullmetal Alchemist. The cover and the title were interesting, so I read all 4 chapters there were. I thought it was neat. Months later the first anime came out and I jumped to the new fandom.
3) Tales of the Abyss OTP! What is it? :D
Peony/Jade! I don't OTP in this case to the point of being unable to see them with anyone else (I do like Peony/Nephry, have more problems seeing Jade in relationships with anyone), but they're my favorite pairing in the series.
4) You're going on a year-long trip to the moon and can only take 5 video games! Which games do you take?
Assuming we have unlimited electric power to have TVs, consoles, and recharge handhelds... I'll choose one for each genre I like.
♥ Okami -for Zelda shenaniganscan I cheat and take Ocarina 3DS too??
♥ Ghost Trick -for graphic novel shenanigans
♥ Tales of the Abyss -for action RPG shenanigans
♥ Persona 4 -for turn-based RPG shenanigans
♥ We Love Katamari -because playing a Katamari game with no gravity must be THE SHIT
5) Do you have a favorite seiyuu? What role made them your favorite?
For a while it was Paku Romi, because I heard her in a lot of anime I liked when I got more into animanga fandom. I first heard her as Tao Ren in Shaman King, so I can't say it was because of Ed -I did recognize her on the first anime's first episode! But after a while I didn't hear her again enough and now I lost the ability to go HOLY SHIT, PAKU AGAIN and I don't notice her immediately.
Right now, the one that keeps bumping on me everywhere is Koyasu Takehito! Even in old-as-shit anime!! I've been hearing him all the time and never noticed until a couple of years ago. The role that made me be aware of him was Jade Curtiss, actually. I played an undub version of the game, so now his voice is burned into my ears foreeeever.

♥ ♥ YES. I was poking around the fandom for this and wondering if I was weird.
And, Wikipedia just told me that Koyasu Takehito was Luck Gandor in Baccano. I have learned something today and am ashamed I didn't recognize him. And I am now falling over myself in giggles because I'm imagining Luck with Jade's hair and glasses.

I think I never replied to you in another meme! I think it was you who asked me to rant about Ling/Lan Fan, and I left it for the end because I thought I had already and I could do some copy-pasta, but then I got lazy and completely forgot! I suck at replying to memes, apparently :o
No, not at all! I haven't seen many people shipping it on LJ fandom, but Peony/Jade is fairly popular :D At least in Japanese fandom it is, judging from the massive amount of doujinshi and fanart and porn. True that there are a lot of larger ships (everything involving Luke is huge, and Jade is a big fandom bycicle) but to me, who is lucky if she sees one fanwork a year for many of her ships, it is a huge deal. Plus all the non-game canon is pretty awesome with Peony
That reminds me that I watched Bacanno before playing TotA, so any rewatch is going to be HILARIOUS XDDD
