I don't really know what to say right now, but I've felt bad about not posting for a while here. I'll try to write a real post later this week, but on the meantime have a meme.

My canon OTP: Suki/Sokka!
OTP that hasn’t happened but I SHIP IT: I... liked Aang/Zuko, but I'm not sure if it's an OTP or just a bromance I enjoy too much, because I'm too chill about it
Most badass character: This one is hard because there's a lot of badassery going on. I was going to say Iroh, but I think I'm just going to say all the White Lotus Society. Adult badasses FTW!
Pairing I am not a fan of: I honestly don't see the appeal of Zuko/Katara, neither ICly or fandom-wise. And Sokka/Yue bored me to tears
Character I’d wanna be best friends with: Definitely Sokka
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): It's not really a character, but I wanted to see more of Ursa and what the fuck happened to her

Most badass character: This is hard because badasses are aplenty, but I'll pick Izumi because she fought bears with her bare hands
Pairing I am not a fan of: Most slash pairings, but especially Roy/Ed. They're much better as a snarky not-really-mentorship thing
Character I’d wanna be best friends with: Winry. COME AT ME, FANDOM
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Father was so boring in the end compared to his homunculi
Favourite friendship: Ling+Ed. No, wait, Ling+GREED. More like Ling+anyone-he-befriends
Character I want to adopt or be adopted by: The Armstrongs would be fun but I'm not awesomesauce enough to pass their family traditions. I'm going to say Mei and Xiao Mei, then. And Trisha as my mom, she seems nice

Most badass character: Technically, wouldn't that be the MCs? I wouldn't know which would be the most badass (I guess it's either Red or the Sinnoh MCs because of the ridiculously godmodding legendaries in that region.) From the NPCs I'm not sure, I'm going to say Cynthia because I like her a lot
Pairing I am not a fan of: I can't really get into ships with boy MCs, perhaps because I always play as the girl and I don't give the guys a second thought. But ships with Silver annoy me the most for some reason
Character I’d wanna be best friends with: Elesa and Skyla seem fun to hang out with. Oh, or Shauntal!
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): WTF was up with Masuda's recent facts about N? Natural Harmonia Gropius, really?!? It all just reads as bad fanfic headcanon IMHO

My canon OTP: That's kind of hard considering there aren't many truly two-side explicit canon ships around, and the ones you can make a case of aren't that much of my taste (for instance, Frings/Cecil was looking nice and then it got ruined to me). So I'm going to say Peony/Nephry despite the fact they had to break up. Mostly because I like my headcanon idea of how their relationship was like, since I didn't like their main manga version that much

Most badass character: Jade's second name should be Badass
Pairing I am not a fan of: Anything with Luke. Asch/Natalia because I think she deserves much better. I make a lot of jokes about Jade/Dist but I don't ship it at all

To be fair, it only happens as a bonus Christmas date you can only go if you dated her. If you keep it friendship, it doesn't get gross although they do back down a little on the queerness in general. Still, that female school uniform thing was horribly OOC and thankfully I don't know anyone who liked it.

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Did no one writing Okamiden ever notice how implied scumbag Amaterasu and Waka look now, considering the situation they throw their respective kids to? Hell, they likely EXIST to be thrown into it, which makes it very UGH if you think hard about it. I think they focused too much on keeping the established worldbuilding and trying to shoehorn the plot into the existing timeline, and no one considered CHARACTERIZATIONS.
Favourite friendship: Ammy+EVERYTHING
Character I want to adopt or be adopted by: I'd totally adopt Kurow. And be adopted by the sparrow clan because those birds are awesomeness!

You know, when I found out that people shipped Ammy/Waka, I was kind of appalled. My first thought was "NO, THAT'S BESTIALITY, OH MY GOD EW EW EW", and even if Ammy IS a gijinka, it's still a no for me :/ Then again, I'm normally not into non-canon pairings because I suck.

Hahah, I loved the sparrows too! Going to their bathhouse was one of my favorite parts of the game, and it was so adorable seeing them wearing clothes and prancing around all busy-like XDD

I haven't played through all of Okamiden, but what exactly did they do? I mean, I know they did that whole "Ammy is a boy and Chibi's grandpa" shit, but did they end up making her look bad, too?

It's hard to explain and I don't have the plot fresh in my mind, but it was the implications what was worse than any retcon there might be. They made the game's main villain (who was incredibly bland) more important than Yami. They lessened Shiranui's death's impact. You can imply that Ammy is a really bad parent (and heroine) if she just throws her new born pup to fight the biggest bad guy in their canon while she's... what IS she doing, anyway? Also by the end of the game, Issun got a way to get to the Celestial Plain and it's never said if he's going just to visit, or just going to send his Envoy responsibilities to fuck off.
