Some of you might've noticed I did a winter cleaning and went on a friends cut frenzy of sorts.

If you were cut, um, I'm really sorry. There are many reasons, which can be:
a) It's been years since we've met, and I feel like we've fell apart or were never able to connect at all, so maybe my LJfriendship is dragging you guys. This was a really hard decision, if this was your case, and I hope there are no hard feelings?
b) Your journal is pretty much dead and we weren't that close
c) I friended you in a meme and I honestly can't remember or differentiate you because we've barely talked ever since. So I feel awkward trying to remember who you were every time I see you, and perhaps the feeling is mutual
d) You defriended me first one day, so it's not like you are reading this anyway

My posts are mostly public, so I guess you can still read me if you want. It's not like they're so interesting, but just in case: you're not missing much because I don't read you. I'm keeping here people I like to talk to, close friends, and people who don't know me but I like to read them.

If you still want to be in my flist or that I give you another chance to click if you're under category c and I don't know who the hell you are when I should, then by all means we can talk it over here. And I guess that's it. I hope you'll be happy and have awesome holidays. Bye!

Bleh, cutting people always sucks. Even if you were never good friends with them to begin with, it's still kind of awkward because... what if you cut the one person that's bat-shit insane and decides to stir up drama for no reason? I'm paranoid though XDD

It's all cool. I find the posts you make about various manga and books very interesting, as you have a very similar taste to mine. I know that a post you made about One Piece got me into that series (which was actually a REALLY BIG deal to me, because that series literally helped me get through some serious bouts of depression over the past several years - no joke AT ALL about that). My Portrait of Pirates collection - all the Straw Hats, plus Vivi and Carue, PLUS a certain spoilery character still in his box - has cost me about $1500 - $1700 so far. AND all the manga. So, yeah. You have INFLUENCE, lady.

I think you're a highly literate and conscientious writer, and I always enjoy reading your posts.

I'm only a lurker, really, so it's not a big deal; I think I got cut during a previous purge already. I did want to let you know, however, that even though you have followers who don't post or reply much, your words are very, very appreciated.

Augh, now I feel a little bad because I kinda dropped One Piece a couple of years ago for length -and I think I was a little burned from shounen manga in general. On the other hand, I'm glad that the series really helped you! Not your wallet though, but I can only imagine how amazing those figures all together must be like.

As for kind words: I am all kinds of grateful to all the people in my life, even the strangers I have met along the way. See that black binder on top of Jinbe's box? That's the case for the college diploma I just got this past weekend. Believe me when I tell you that finding a story about dreamers who just won't quit was a huge boon to me over the past several years. That the series is deeply entertaining to boot is a big bonus. So...
