Déjà-vu

I'm anti-politics, but since everybody is doing it... My message about American elections:

Oh fuck. Not again. The idiots.

Yeah, I could sum it up in 6 words. Why am I not bitching more? Simple. You forget (or may not know it) I'm Venezuelan. So it's not the first time I see a country re-elect a moronic asshole who's breaking their nation in pieces.

And Venezuela has to put up with Chávez for 12 years in a row, and they may be more if he changes the Constitution again in the next 6 years. Lucky you, United States, you're only having 8 years of Bush in a row.

But I'll grant this in your favor: at least Chávez doesn't destroy any other country (apart from Venezuela, that is). I'm relieved my country is not of international wars; we're more of civil wars, since the XIX century or something. Really, no other country will be hurt whether Chávez rules Venezuela or not. So yeah, from that point of view, 4 years of Bush are more dangerous than a century of Chávez.

Thank God my mom and the rest of my family left Miami...

You know what makes this eerily familiar to me? That both of them seemed to base their campaign on "I'm not the other one". ¬_¬ I thought that opnly happened in "países bananeros" like Argentina...

Except, if it had been here, everybody would have sworn they'd never vote Bush, Bush would have won by *a lot*, and then everybody would deny they voted him >_
