Little meme, fanart and plot bunnies

After writting yesterday, an with all the good ficlets you gals in my flist have been making, I'm having the urges of hunting for plot bunnies. I spent my Technical English class time daydreaming.

Because hey, I've always thought Kerberos and Yue are so adorable in their own way, so all your fics with one or both of them are so nice, I want to take a chance. Really.

And Clow time is always full of fun. Especially if Yuuko is around! XD Yep, some Clow+Yuuko is in the kitchen. Or at least, she spending time with the creepy four-eyes and company in some way or another. I got a lot of ideas, I just wish I had the time to sit down.

Crap, and I still have to retake Vereda Oscura...

And sure, I also have HOLiC bunnies per se. You all know my "Yuuko-tachi meets Eriol-tachi" infamous plot bunny, with London location, which I'm developing. Also, in the non-comedy department, there's a fluffy/depresive one it's gonna make you guys go "aww".

Also, I have a new one I just hunted: "Himawari in Wonderland". Parody of the CCS parody of the Carroll book. Yay recursiveness. Starring!
- Alice Himawari (well duh)
- White Rabbit Doumeki
- Cheshire Cat Watanuki (like you didn't see that one coming!)
- Queen of Hearts Yuuko
- Mad Hatter Clow (yeah, it makes no sense, but still...)
- Tumble Soel and Tumble Larg

I found a brand new Japanese fanart site yesterday, and it became a huge favorite! I'm so in love with their Eriol fanarts, some of them almost seem CLAMP. And bonus points for drawing Death Note ones without making it yaoi (gasp! shock!). Talking about fanarts, in one of my old beloved bookmarks, there's one heck of a Clow portrait I know some of yours are gonna drool over it. I saw it months ago, but I forgot. Similarly, there's a worthy Watanuki in the same style. <3

Oh, he's baby Clow! (Well, youngish, anyway.) How cute! Yes, that one is really well done. I imagine that Eriol will look very similar when he has a few more years on him.

The scrying dish has started me thinking of sake, though, and now I have this (older Clow) Clow-using-sake-to-scry plot bunny thing.

Well, if one can use water for divination in his world, why not sake? XD
Or at least, he can use that excuse.

Yue: Drinking again?
Clow: Of course not, I'm scrying! ^_^
Yue: ... ¬__¬'

There, feed the bunny.

I imagine that Eriol will look very similar when he has a few more years on him.

Sorry, I was hyperventilating over here. *breathes and cuts the fangirlish mental picture*

That Watanuki pic is so, so pretty. :D

And the Wonderland idea is cute, too! [would very much pay to see how it turns out]

Parodies are not meant to be cute! Are meant to be funny!
and put Watanuki in Eriol's catboy suit

I laughed, anyway. XD You've accomplished one thing this morning!

Dear lord, DO IT.

It need preparation. Because if I do it without previous thinking, I'll end up doing Himawari some harm (as I'm not fond of the young lady yet). And don't want to do the first character bashing in my fandom, especially since Himawari is popular for no coherent reason at all (stupid adoration for the cute-yet-impersonal characters...)

Ooh, I forgot: Maru and Moro as cards things.

Personally, I just like her for her hair. ^^;; (Even though I'd rather keep my hair short.)

Excuse me while I look for a spork...

Oo;; Oops. Er, forget I said that.

Well, I'm going to be predictable here, but... *drools* And the one with Watanuki is so cute!

Yuuko as the Queen of Hearts is possibly one of the scariest concepts ever. O_O But I must admit that I was way too young when I read Alice in Wonderland, I found it extremely creepy, and every time I tried to reread I didn't dare in the end. Every time I'm about to start it I get this feeling of "Gaaah!!! Creepy!!! I don't want to see the Mock Turtle EVER again!" >_<

(The Cheshire Cat was the only one who didn't scare the heck out of me for some reason, though *shrugs*)

Well, the plot bunny is an excuse to put Watanuki some cat ears, and it's a parody of a parody, what would make it less scary. But still... The book IS creepy. That's why CLAMP is like that, Ohkawa has read it too damn much. That's what happens when you read something written by a Victorian drug addict, pedophile guy.

(Disney's version of the Cheshire cat is the scariest animation character I've seen in my life. The one in the book didn't scare me, though)

Disney's Cheshire cat was scary, yes, but I found the Mad Hatter even scarier >_< One of the few Disney movies I never liked...

Oh, and now that I've had the time to take a look at the galleries you posted- they're great! There's a lot of really nice art, thanks for sharing. And now I really wish I could understand Japanese... this has me alternatively laughing my butt off, trying to magically figure out what they're saying, and wondering if the puppet of choice means that Yuuko is going to reincarnate as a rubber ducky XD (though it's probably just the artist's slashy mind, alas!)

Awesome gallery, thanks for the link.

And I like your plot bunnies (you may count this as big cheerleader encouragement)
