wasabi_fiend. Nothing like references to movie franchises and wizards talking crap about other wizards to amuse you. Thus... my spoilerrific, graphic-heavy comments.
Remember: I speak zero Japanese. Well, granted, I remember how some names are written, but that's it. I just say what I see in this post.
First, we start with a color page of Syaoran looking ass-kicked in front of Sakura, and the pretty color splash with SS. As usual, not putting it here because I so don't care.
Now we go back with Reed, aka monocle guy. I'll say, like always, Clow will be as I'll call Clow Reed (other variations: Clow-sama, the weird guy, Yuuko's ex, Teh Smex) from now on, so no confusions here. I'm just too lazy to learn evil dude's first names, so the brain-breaker last name will do. So, he continues talking about his evil plans and the desert and stuff. And then...
... he goes and mentions Yuuko and Clow! As this is "evil guy" talking here, he must be talking crap about them and how they're frustrating his plans. Or something. God, I really want to know what he's saying...
Or maybe he's a shipper like me and he says how good they looked together? j/k.
Anyway, enjoy the closest graphic C/Y thing CLAMP is giving to us since the couch picture from last year.
Now we get a close-up to evil!Syaoran, and we go back to normal!Syaoran. And then, his eye...
"Ow, my scar hurts again! Voldemort must be angry."
"You should write Dumbledore, Syaoran-kun!"
"No, I won't!"
And I thought Watanuki was CLAMP's Harry Potter... damn. Like I needed proof Ohkawa reads Rowling!
Sakura's solution to everything: fluff. Crap, I don't like this chapter, fangirls will be squeeing from here to Timbuktu. "liekomgshekissedhim!!1"
Until Mokona teases her, she doesn't realize it's not normal to touch other people's faces with your lips. Because you know, amnesia includes loss of memory and common sense. The shame! The blush! The nauseas I feel when I think these two dumbasses are the CLAMP ultimate one true pairing! *headbang*
Anyway, Mokona comes and talks about, erm, something. And Sakura gets sad. And Syaoran is still so shocked about his HP moment Mokona must comfort her instead.
Syaoran/Sakura/Mokona, OT3?! x_x Bah, still, Soel looks so cute, like a plushie!
Sakura and Mokona go talk to Ashura. When they leave, happens something that makes this chapter worth it.
Ashura communicates with Yuuko with water!! *drools* Well, now we can have a new communication method in our XXXHOLiC fanfictions, don't we? *grin*
Yuuko starts talking about how someone is controling Mokona's travels. Of course, we all know who it is, and if we don't, we get to see the guy at the background of the dialogue a couple of times. Now, what we don't know is, if Yuuko also knows. I can't see his name everywhere in the text, so no clue. I so want to know what they're saying again.
Meanwhile, Syaoran decides it's not enough to crossover HPverse, so he also crossovers Star Wars-verse. There's something Tattooine-ish about the place and his clothes.
But then, the clone is bored and the scar, I mean, the eye hurts again. So let's go back to Harry Potter...
Luckly for him, he revolves in pain in front of a mirror, so we also get to see what happened to the Mirror of Erised after Philosopher/Sorcerer's Stone.
And yeah, *cue for foreshadowing music*
After that, Syaoran, riding that weird animal, meets Ashura and his/her troops, also riding weird animals. And that's it for that chapter! Gee, I miss Fye and Kurogane...

I loved S+S as a couple in CCS, but they just don't feel like the same characters in Tsubasa to me.

Yup, I still love S/S :3 Even though I love Syaoran more and think Sakura looks like a brainless zombie most of the time in Tsubasa (instead of having lost her memories). But really, people should start to notice the real OMG!TRULUV!OTP pairing in TRC... Mokona x Kurogane!!1 (in that order) THEIRLUVISSOWEFIGHTLIEKAMARRIEDCOUPLEYAY!!!1ONE

So, I spend ages trying to convince myself that "it's not that kind of hanyaan, really" and then they come up with a picture like this. You can bet *I* will be squeeing from here to Timbuktu.
TRC!Shaoran is beginning to annoy me, because I really don't want to compare Harry to Luke (though I've compared Dumbledore to Obi Wan a couple of times :P ). I'm still trying to find out how my favourite CCS character and a cheerful, kick-ass sorceress turned into a heap of angst and a damsel in distress, by the way.
And Ashura and Yasha! Ack! Just the people I didn't want to see. >_<
But still... Clow... ^____^ Some of us are happy with so little... *sigh*
