I wonder, with all of this parallel universe thing... if there's a Kaho Mizuki in Angelic Layer world, would she by any chance be a teacher at Eriol Academy?

XDDDDDD

Edit: What do you know, there's a pretty Watanuki shrine :D

And speaking of him, I did write the story that was killing me.

Hmmm, well, it's been a while since I watched it, so I can't be clear. Well, it was the first anime I saw that dealt with a psychological and mythologic background (Sailor Moon doesn't count as mythologic <.<) I ever saw, and it scarred me deeply. I was a depressed, lonely teenager [wait a damn minute, I still am!], and I identify with Shinji and Asuka a lot. I do suffer from the hedgehog's dilemma.

Who knows, it just obsessed me. And I'm not into mechas, which is ironic.

And Pen Pen is love XD

It's an anime series. It's about a girl self-named Kino who's a traveller and goes through different countries with her motorcycle Hermes. It's really neat and deep. It was based in some famous Japanese novels I'll never get to read.

I don't know if you remember my last LJ layout, the red one with a tomboy girl between flowers? It's from it.

[identity profile] su-chan.livejournal.com 2005-01-21 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] elihice.livejournal.com 2005-01-21 07:02 pm (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] elihice.livejournal.com 2005-01-21 07:04 pm (UTC)(link)

*checks that website and is stricken by a moment of duh* Watanuki is Aries ! That's /why/ I don't like it ! *facepalms* It was so obvious. He's got all the caracteristics I don't like in Aries too (mainly those my sisters got) ^_^

Yeah, he's a characteristic fire person. Interesting enough, Sakura and Eriol are also Aries, just not *that* Aries. But still, gives you something to think about.

I want to know what Death Note is about. I keep hearing about it.

And that Watanuki shrine is really nice...

Interesting. Sakura fair enough, but I really would never have pegged Eriol as an Aries. I see them as more direct, straightforward people, while I tend to think of Eriol as one taking the complicated paths just for the sake of it ^^

And I like most other fire signs. I just have a history with Aries ;)

I know I'm not original but, which is/are the thing(s) you most like about FMA? as in other words; why do you like it so much?

[identity profile] rainmage.livejournal.com 2005-01-23 09:54 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmm, good question.

When I became a fan, nobody had recommend it to me, or I had heard about it anywhere before. I discovered the manga before the anime started all by myself. I remember I went to Toriyama's World more than a year ago, and was looking for something to download. Why did I pick FMA? I don't know, the "alchemist" part in the title drove my attention.

So I downloaded the two first chapters, just to check it out. And apart from the fact I found Edward hot ("OMG! I'm drooling for a limp guy with a steel arm and leg! WTF is wrong with this picture!," I said to myself), the storyline was something original, shocking and addictive. And I went and got all they had (4 scanlated chapters at the time, wow), and followed it religiously up to today. And the anime came later.

What I like the most? Everything. The characters are deep and wonderful, the plot is thick, there's action, there's fantasy, there's suspense, there's tragedy, there's comedy, there's angst, creepy things happen all the time, they rip your heart out and leave you wanting for more.

About the characters, I love them all (except for Rose, because she's a Mary Sue; and Dante, because she's the lamest antagonic ever; and Nina's dad, because he's a sicko; and there's something about Envy that disturbs me), but the brothers are my favorites. Also adore Roy, Riza, Izumi, Winry, Havoc, Fuery, Schiezca, Lust, anime!Hohenheim, and of course, Ling Yao and Lan Fan from the manga.
