Fandom Laws, Irasto Corolary:
If a book series is big in Japan, there will be at least one union/webring. If you're lucky enough, after a lot of surfing, you'll get to at least one Japanese site with *good* fanart (not only doodles in oekakis, pretty stuff that makes you drool and stare.) And chances are, the links section will have a 70% of nice links.

Guess what I did today. Not study that much (it's not my fault, my concentration falls down with PMS synthoms!) I almost finish the Howl/Sophie fanlisting, and I had a urge for Japanese fanart hunting. My findings for Howl's Moving Castle:

Ruthia
Memewo
Pingos
Piece

Some of them are book-only, and others are both book and anime-based. I like the book ones better, since there Sophie is red-haired like she should be XD

Hmmm, I need to make Howl icons.

Edit: seen today in a community...
Person 2: "Yeah it is!! My fav couple is Sakura and Syaoran, but who doesn't like them?"
Person 1: "Yes!! Everyone love Sakura x Syaoran. They're just SO cute together that you can't not like them. ^_^ *squeal*"
Me: *raises hand* I do not love them... And besides, I don't think it makes grammatical sense to write "can't not", but that's just a hunch.

Of course, I didn't post that as then I would be the wanker. Again.

After reading the CLAMP no Kiseki interview, I wouldn't be surprised if Kodansha pressured CLAMP for making a non-open, happy ending. Or maybe they felt they had to draw it like that, because if the manga ending looked like the anime one, hordes of fans would hunt them down.

Well, at least it seems less forced than Eriol/Kaho... *sighs*
