CLAMP pics and pagan theology

chibiyuuto, and anyone interested, CLAMP Kingdom got bigger pictures of the Kamui/Kobato/Kimihiro/Hokuto thingie! Yaaaaay! Sadly, they're got an ugly watermark (it's small, but still, it's ugly). They also got the Kiseki covers and the Kobato/Ashura/Atashi card.
Just click on the watermelon, and go to the galleries with a "new" gif besides the link.

After a lot of stupid thinking, I just concluded there are just four characters in CLAMPverse that could ascend to the category of "gods"; meaning "gods" as beings that have gone through the process of creation, be it worlds, living beings, artifacts, fetishes... and by that, modifying the destiny and/or ways of life of many in one or more worlds.

The number seems accurate, as there are four mangakas in CLAMP.

So, this is my Mount Olymp:

Mokona: as in the white, fluffy animal that says "puu", not the mangaka. God/goddess (it's asexual, isn't it? ô_o) of dimensions and travelling. It pwns them all.

Ichiro Mihara: as in the mastermind behind angels and persocons. God of science, technology, mechanics, harassment, and comedy relief.

Clow Reed: (oh, come on, you saw him coming!) as in the Master of Cards. God of magic, knowledge, wisdom, philosophy, writing, cooking and rice wine.

Yuuko Ichihara: (well duh!) as in the Witch of Dimension. Goddess of magic, commerce, beauty, sex, feminity, fashion and rice wine.

Yes, I am insane.

if you list kujaku you had to list Taishakuten ! or ashura o (because ashura o is so great in everything that he belongs to every list ^_^)

I have a net preference with Kujaku. I think Kujaku, Touya and Yuuko are my all time favourite Clamp characters *cough* However even though Taishaku-ten was pretty powerful (and has the status of a god like many others in RG Veda) he never did succeed in what he was trying to do.
Ashura-O is pretty, but he failed too. It's okay, they'll meet again at the Clamp Campus Library, and Kujaku is reincarnated into that Inomoyama guy in Combination. Just like Yasha-Ou is really Fuuma and Ashura is really Kamui. (<- has too many weird reincarnation theories about RG Veda)

A friend of mine actually owns 3 of them and all the clamp news I'm just green of jealousy everytime I visit him.

but I really love mine (I realize I had it for a really cheap price when I'm looking at ebay) my favorite part has to be Seishirou giving a ring to subaru.

I don't know i always felt like she would have the power to change the world if she wanted. But Clover always gives me that impression of virtual reality which was made even more explicit when we reached the Faery Park in Tsubasa.

But Usyagi didn't create anything. I'm limiting to creating "gods", but defining "creation" as something big that affects and creates life. Piffle Princess creator isn't affecting anyone's karma.

I don't know if it's a translation mistake but in the french verison Icchan is piffle princess main manager, it does not mean he created the brand, but I always thought he was managing a family business from his mother or grand mother (he shares the same name with Chiharu from CCS)

Togakushi Shrine is more a fic challenge community. And it's only about X/1999. Since the Discussions things didn't work too much well lately, but some people still seemed to be interested I've been thinking about making a global clamp community for this kind of discussions... and I'm glad you would ! ^^
