I was supposed to finish my Kakyou/Hokuto essay today, but I got lazy. I didn't do anything productive, except for a couple of icons. But I don't want to talk about icons, because it reminds me of a certain icontest that has bad taste and didn't recognize one of the best icons I've made. I was so fucking proud *snif*

Anyway... I'll stop being an arse. It's not that I'm obnoxious, but... damn it, I thought it was pretty... *sighs*

I don't know which of all the icontests you take part in you're talking about, but I've realized people's tastes in icons are nothing like mine. I'm not talking about winning, because I'm not that great and right now I don't even have Photoshop, but the icons I vote for at clamp_icontest and ccs_awards rarely win. I guess I just go for a simple look, and people apparently like their icons crowded/moving/unreadable/all of the above. *shrugs*

Hablaba de ccs_awards. Estaba frustrada porque me gustó muchísimo mi icon de Yukito de esta semana, pero sigo perdiendo en ese concurso por culpa de esas animaciones epilépticas.

Y ni me hagas hablar de la semana pasada. Muy random...

No sé si me estoy volviendo pedante, pero en mi opinión en esa comunidad siempre ganan los más feos/chillones. No sé si estaré envidiosa por no pasar nunca de un segundo lugar allá o qué... pero los míos siempre me parecen los más bonitos. En clamp_icontest admito que hay gente más talentosa que yo, pero ya las animaciones en esa comunidad están fuertes. Parece que es imposible para esas niñitas disfrutar de algo estático o diferente.

Ah, entonces es como yo me imaginaba. No entiendo cómo en una comunidad tan chica es tan difícil que ganen los mejores icons... :/ En clamp_icontest no siempre ganan los que más me gustan, pero en general la calidad en promedio es mucho mejor. La mayoría de los de ccs_awards son epilépticos de veras.

Yay! :D Me fascinan las referencias. Y de ese libro, se pueden hacer para casi todo... Ya le fríe las neuronas a uno sin relacionarlo con nada más, pero con CLAMP de por medio da miedo la cosa. (Y yo estoy empezando a sospechar que Lewis Carroll se está vengando de mí indirectamente por no haber apreciado su crack libro...)
