It's just that I'm strictly overprotective to minor characters, so when they make them say stupid things or go OOC, I feel like they're bashing.

And Clow is one of the most smart characters in CLAMPverse, so make him say things like "I'm a dead eunuch" is sort of retarted. Just... go to the FMA fandom to get some crack appreciation, dumbass.

Well, I don't know. Considering the amount of fanfiction and fanart involving him, I'd say so. If you compare them, of course, to the amount of rabid fangirls of the rest of the male characters.

it's the quality that count. Ain't Clow fanfics usually better than your run of the hill skaterboiz!syaoran ? Even poor Touya (as much as I love the guy) has some mediocre fics written about him but all the Clow stuff i've read so far were pretty good...

Maybe because only rational people can get the appealing of the mystery surrounding him? Maybe this is why I'm sticking with writing and reading minor characters, but I digress... sk8erboi fanfictions are scary.

The thing that puzzles me is, the poster says he/she thinks Clow rocks, but still he/she mocks him? I mean, I do make fun of my favorite characters and do crackful things, but none of them are so vulgar. Maybe that's why I got offended? Because Clow can be ridiculed in a more classy way? (like the tequila jokes, for instance)

I don't know, I love Seishirou but I love pecking fun at him in a way that can be downward degrading (the bastard deserves it !), on the other i would never poke fun at Subaru in the same way, and I get annoyed when people call Kamui a whiner, though I don't even like his character much.

Well, whoring Seishirou out is funny, even if I'm not his fan XD Maybe every character needs a determined style of mockery. For instance, the classic "I'm a ho" Kanoe joke might be funny in her, but pulling it on Yuuko, even if she wears revealing clothes like her, is not. At least, not for me. Because they're different characters.

Maybe the oversized compensating magic staff could be amusing for any other character in any other fandom, but in Clow is sort of tasteless.

I don't like the "I'm a ho" jokes with Kanoe for some reason. It sounds like pure bashing to me, and demeaning to anyone who jsut happens to have big breast (guess what ? I've got big breastn might be why i annoys me >_>)
But i agree, the character change the whole outlook sometimes.

I ALWAYS find oversized compensating magic staff jokes funny, but that's me, and my love of gratuitous sexual symbolism humour. Could say it's one of my fetish ^^
