taotrooper: It's a polar bear dancing the hula; your argument is invalid (Fourth Division pride / shinigamis_icon)

Ah, old boring Saturday

I know I've been lazy. I know.

I wanted to post about how Division 4th is definitely the best after their ending on crack with the Looney Tunes ending (Hanatarou, this is the floor. Floor, this is Hanatarou. *splat*). Maybe I'm crazy for liking this division so much, but the fact they don't use brute force and work with demonic arts for good things like healing or making announcements is rather cool to me. So what if they can't use a sword for their lives? I love them all, even the random guy that wants to get contact lenses to be hot or something. Isane, the vicecaptain, rocked so much in the manga. Kon is right, Unohana is like a mommy. And what can you say about Hanatarou? He's utterly cute, especially in chibi moments XD

A random fact about me you should know: I'm a sucker for Artic and Antarctic animals. So in my late hunt for Tsubasa #6 (no, haven't gotten the thing yet) I couldn't resist to a documentary on DVD with emperor penguins on the cover. I... am a geek, yeah.

First official poster.
Am I the only one that thinks it sucks? The PoA posters were gorgeous and artistic. This one... looks like someone is new with Photoshop and wanted to do an iPod ad, but added the render>clouds filter plus some red font for the heck of it.

And the posing in the shadows makes Harry look like he's paroding Uryuu Ishida.

TVGuide video.
Question... why are the Durmstrang students breakdancing in the Great Hall? O_o No comprendo.

I've already ranted a lot about how that's not Hermione at the Yule Ball, that's Emma Watson in a Hollywood premiere. I've already nitpicked on how her hair should be straight and her dress should be blue. I still don't get why movie!Hermione is always so... pink, you know, but I digress. The point is...

Why the fuck is Parvati wearing a sari?! Dude, even if she has Hindi heritage, I don't think she wouldn't want to wear a normal dress (I'm not saying dress robes, because obviously WB thought there's no room for ugly wizardry outfits when there are tuxedos and dresses and they're pretty ¬¬). Why, oh why, are they pulling cliches on the minority?

Now let me guess. Cho Chang wears a silk Chinese dress to the prom Ball. With a high neckline and opened on the sides. And it has to be red, also, because most of those dresses are, apparently.

...bah.

5 more days to FMA #47.

I hope the other posters are better. This one even looks like a fanwork.

Ugh...I'm not going to like the movie. I liked the stressing over dress robes! Especially since I heard HP4 is to be released in two parts (part 1, part 2).

No, that's a rumour. They're just going to cut half the canon and fit it into a tiny movie, like every year.

Oh, they still stress over... but over ugly tuxedos *makes raspberry sound of disgust* I'm betting 1/4 or more of the movie is going to be about the stupid Ball. Yuck.

I have no hopes for that movie. I lost them all the moment I saw Ron's hair.

Weird; I lost them at the moment I saw Harry's hair.

...wait, I had no hopes to begin with.

Oh, and the poster? As some on [livejournal.com profile] deleterius pointed out... they're missing a comma. >_<

Great job, people!

Really, it's like a thirteen year-old was hired to make promotional art.

I didn't notice the comma, but I've read comments about it and already knew.
