I downloaded the whole Newtype August and I'll be sharing... the bad Art of Tsubasa. I'm putting the XXXHOLiC scans too, but in the HOLiC community. Luckily, I'll get a translation there. (Edit: they're here)


The whole idea of that group shot without some of them killing each other scares me a LOT.
Meanwhile, who's Fujitaka's seiyuu? Can somebody translate the kanji?


My favorite page, for obvious reasons. Clow country yay! Kings yay! OTP yay! <3 Too bad they messed it up with Yuuko *yuck* I should be thankful, though: I'd be really tempted to do a King-of-Clow!Clow/Yuuko icon otherwise.
Again, can anyone tell me who is Clow's awful seiyuu?


You know what's sad? I think the most beautiful person in that whole page is Souma. No, really, she's so pretty. After her, the best (or most accurate) character design is Watanuki's. Tomoyo looks like a zombie!Sue, and we all know about Fye and Kurogane...


Hanshin country. Where the Pokemon battles are hot. Er, I mean.
Too bad Shougo's hotness isn't really shown here. Arashi looks lame(r). And I'm still boggled Rayearth is lacking, you know, flames.


Koryo country. Where Spirits Are Always With You. Especially your mom's.
I'm sad about how Chun Hyang's story came out. They gave her too much angst and Sakura was a lot around. Meanwhile, the sorceress looks just as she should be.


Jade country. Where there are no horses, even though there should be.
You know, Emeraulde looks like a blonde Nadeshiko. Must be the wavy hair and stuff. And I swear to God, that hair and eye color (it shows more in the anime, though) make Kyle look a bit like Eriol. ARGH.


Mokonafish! Poor thing, it wasn't spared from the torture of showing up with these freaks.
Meanwhile, the text around the tubular thing, is it something important for the plot or just obvious crap?

I shall continue on the anime!Kyle-looks-a-lot-like-anime!Eriol paranoia and more Jade details in another post. With screencaps and stuff. I just haven't seen this week's episode yet.

*got the Jade Country one to load* The main four still look lifeless. Only Fai shows any personality. Are you saying that the anime is worse?! You must be uploading the best worst screencaps; they're actually recognizable in yours.

You're right about Kyle looking like Eriol, especially in the profile sketch. He looks like Eriol from sheepplusharmy's default icon, in fact.

As for the Nadeshiko/Emmeraude thing, I guess I can see it. Except that Nadeshiko never looked that sad.
