In a way, I can understand it, as I started writing fanfic in Spanish. It's never easy to make the jump and write in English, and I know people who can't grasp enough of the language not only for fanfics, just for anything at all, even regular LJ posts.

Spanish-speaking subfandoms tend to be fairly big, but there's the fact we include all Center America, almost all South America, a lot of Caribbean countries and Spain. That's a lot of countries sharing the same language. I assume that's why it's hard to see French fanworks, as not a lot of coutries speak it. And lots of them tend to be written by French-Canadians instead of Europeans or whatever.

See, seeing French fanwork isn't so hard, especially not in the anime/manga area. (especially for Clamp which has been extremely popular in France for a long time) I don't know how it compare to the Spanish speaking fen and I didn't mean we should be as many as you people, but I really do think the French speaking people tend to keep to themselves because they don't want to bother trying it in English. That's why French-Canadians represent a lot of what you will see : they don't have the same mentality about not mixing up with Americans.

Sobre todo cuando empiezan "sí, Hughes está casado y puede que el teem pudiera salir (no se cómo, pero supongo que podría)". En serio, qué cojones se fuma la gente. fma_rare es una de esas comms que me gustaría poder hacer desaparecer con un movimiento de ratón secreto o algo así. Aparte de que la llevan dos de las chavalas que más odio del fandom (POR DIOS, QUE ALGUIEN LES DE OTRO FANDOM QUE DESTROZAR), que se creen guays, las salvadoras o yo que sé, me paseo para ver qué monstruosidad han creado cada día. Más que nada para que no me pille desprevenida o para reírme, si estoy hablando con alguien mientras. Y me jode tanto lo de "be original". No en serio, ¿no pega más "be retarded"? Es que clama al cielo.

Te han faltado las de Ed/Hiedgjkds, Al/Hiedesjsdf, Ed/Al/Hieddsehd y probablemente la Hiedeghjsd/everyone-and-their-mothers. No entiendo. Hay como 5 personas que han visto la película, esto no tiene ni sentido. Por no decir que ni siquiera es un buen personaje, está hay "for the sake of the plot" más que nada xP

Y lo de que fma_yaoi tenga tantos miembros es normal. Está demostrado que poniendo la palabra "yaoi" a una comunidad, la cantidad de gente que se une aumenta en un 600%. Estoy por crear cactus_penguin_yaoi a ver si es verdad.

XDDD no importa. Y por eso dije que es "parte I", porque es lo que me salió sólo buscando FMA. Luego a buscar Fullmetal Alchemist, Full Metal Alchemist y Hagaren, a ver qué joyitas hay.

Ok, some most all of this comms are wtf in some level (except for the yaoi one, considering eevry single fandom has one...it bugs me more when the series is canon yaoi and those comms still exist...that's as pointless as warning for some level of shounen ai hints in most of CLAMP works...)
