What? I needed a break from CLAMPverse

...so I'll resort to FMA. Again. Yeah.

Nothing creepier than making a search and see the batshit communities popping out. Some are insane, some are hateful, some are WTF. And some are all of the previous.

Just by searching "FMA". My comments are inside the []

In a way, I can understand it, as I started writing fanfic in Spanish. It's never easy to make the jump and write in English, and I know people who can't grasp enough of the language not only for fanfics, just for anything at all, even regular LJ posts.

Ahahahaha! It shouldn't be hard. We can get two images of Hokuto and Kotori wearing really girly outfits, and pastede their heds on yay.

you've got a good point. I'd think the same if I ever saw more French people in general in (english speaking) fandoms. We're always so few compared to other Europeans.

lol yeah you're right I'd do it if i wasn't so lazy

Spanish-speaking subfandoms tend to be fairly big, but there's the fact we include all Center America, almost all South America, a lot of Caribbean countries and Spain. That's a lot of countries sharing the same language. I assume that's why it's hard to see French fanworks, as not a lot of coutries speak it. And lots of them tend to be written by French-Canadians instead of Europeans or whatever.

Alas, my pasting abilities are lacking for the job!

See, seeing French fanwork isn't so hard, especially not in the anime/manga area. (especially for Clamp which has been extremely popular in France for a long time) I don't know how it compare to the Spanish speaking fen and I didn't mean we should be as many as you people, but I really do think the French speaking people tend to keep to themselves because they don't want to bother trying it in English. That's why French-Canadians represent a lot of what you will see : they don't have the same mentality about not mixing up with Americans.
