King of Clow!Clow: now with a name

You know me. I speak fangirl Japanese. I haven't memorized all kanas. I use Jim Breen, I use JWPce, I use Babelfish when desperate/lazy. I normally wait to translations like a good girl because I'm not that masochistic.

But certain sequences of katakana send off my alarms. Like, for instance, "Clow Reed".

All the mystery, and the King's name turns out to be CLOW?! Christ on a cracker.

And I can't wait for a translation because, y'know, there's a picture of Watanuki there and I really want to know what they're saying. O___O Although at the same time I sort of hope it's *not* important, because explanations about Watanuki should be in HOLiC not in its evil twin.

Oh, but it's fine. I've heard summaries from before the scans came up, and it seems that Yuuko just tells R!Syaoran that Watanuki was taken care of and stuff, and he thanked her. NOTHING ELSE, no explanations.

The King of the Predecessor was a stupid thing from the beginning, after all. Were they trying to look OMGmysterious, or is it a simple reason like writing "King Clow of Clow kingdom" in English sounds retarded? (because really)

Claro, así todo tiene sentido. Clow y Yuuko quieren que termine su "sueño" para que se deje de destrozar su querido canon. ~~Y Clow un poco para que salgan bien sus ships, pero con eso nunca hubo esperanza...~~

Y hablando de plotholes, si eso que se ve en la página 21 es el círculo mágico de Fei Wang, entonces no tiene nada que ver con el de Clow... o sea que Xing Huo vuelve a su condición de destrozo del canon en potencia. Yay?

Peroooooo... no sé, esa cosa debajo realmente es un círculo mágico? Lo veo demasiado simple comparado con los *cuenta* cuatro círculos mágicos que hemos visto en el cardholicverso. Hacen falta como más simbolejos, más círculos concéntricos, algún ciclo de algo... No se me antoja como la insignia de la competencia de Clow. Si se supone que es 1337 como dice este capítulo, su círculo no sería tan cutre.

and to be fair, eriol>clow in my book for the simple reason I have (been accused of having) a closet shouta complex. ^^'
