Firefox chose that icon, hahahaha. OK so, is the Strikethrough-gate over yet? I'm overwhelmed and oversaturated over the whole disaster by now. It didn't help that almost everyone was fretting about it, and no journaling server with the info (LJ, JF...) acted robust during the wank.

Yeah, I was bugged at the whole bahleetion without solid evidences or checking, even if it's not really my problem -I still haven't shipped any incest pairing, and all my pseudo-pedo pairings have the "child" only pretending to be one because they're 3746736 years old and stuff; yeah, it shows I'm weird. But the crusades were too much for me to follow. And yeah, I'll be staying here because, well, I'm too comfortable over here and the moon in Taurus on my astral chart is showing.

So, from you guys, who are the ones leaving LJ forever? I want to know :3

Moving on...

1. I think I managed to make a layout for the Ling Yao fanlisting. Preview. It's... well, orange. Might change the title if I come up with something better.

2. I started watching The Twelve Kingdoms during the Strikethrough. I'm half through it, just finished the second arc. I dig it a lot, it's cool fantasy with magical creatures and politics and other world, and that's great. I find the ruler-kirin system interesting, too. So far my favorite characters are King En and Enki; they're just awesome, and I LOVED their backstories. Rakushun is extremely adorable, too. But really, I don't dislike any important character -except King Kou, but he's an asshole and I'm glad he's going to die.

So anyway, I've added the first novel to my must-buy list, along with the Slayers and Kino no Tabi novels.

3. I'm sooooo easily distracted these days D: Can someone tell my will to start studying for my finals already?

I'm not entirely sure if you'll like it, as you have a more refined taste in fantasy than I do and you've read way more than me in the genre, but be it or not original -because hell, the anime is focused on the main character who happened to be the schoolgirl, so there's the "teenagers sucked into another world" vibe going on, but it's just for one arc- I thought it was interesting ^^

In the next arc, focus switches away from Youko.

It's the same way in the novels, too: she has her arc, then some other arcs start.

12 Kingdoms is on my netflix queue. Glad to hear you like it.

And I really like the Ling Yao layout. The orange matches with his outfit.

As for the LJ issue, LJ has already said a lot of the deletions/suspensions were a mistake and they will reinstate the ones that were. It was certainly wrong how they went about it but some members reactions were a little overboard as well.

And I need to start working on finals too. Procrastinators Unite! XD

The whole point of the layout is to match with the jacket XDDDDDD No, really. It comes from an in-joke with hamsterfactor, because some iconmakers on the early days were really artistic when coloring Ling out, and I was always like "...it's orange!"

I know, I did read it whole eventually, because my flist was tenacious on it, but I meaning that I didn't participate in any support activity thingie or complained at news or anything.

I can't even feel like studying today, the day is so pretty and hot ever here!

I'd say there was a lot of overreaction, but I see where most of it came from. The paranoia grew too strong, and 6A's lack of diplomacy didn't exactly help. Still, I doubt there's a huge exodus, but I want to check if anyone I know is planning to leave for real.
